- The 2023 Infiniti QX-60 has been a hot debate with Publisher Tim Esterdahl really liking it, while Managing Editor Jill Ciminillo gives it a hard pass. Who do you agree with?

I call BS on THIS review. It’s one thing for a product to not appeal to YOU, it’s another for a product to be completely trash and that is NOT the case with the QX60 as it is made out to be. Almost everything pointed out here is purely subjective. The interior materials a very luxurious. I recently sat in one and it is very nice with almost every surface being covered with cut and down materials along with feeling solid as far as build quality. I personally love the quilted seats and dash. 🤷🏾♂️
Seat comfort varies by the person. And just like we can’t expect every car to fit someone that’s 6’9”, not every car is going to fit someone very petite. Someone’s size, no matter on which end of the spectrum, can eliminate many cars from your shopping list, but I won’t fault the car for it.
In regards to the 3rd row, it’s about average for the class. There’s some that are smaller. As far as the headrest, the 3rd row reclines which remedies the angle of the headrest.
I have a new GLE, 2022 X6 bmx & 2023 QX60 and the QX60 I get the most compliments on 🤷🏻♀️
Girl, go sit down somewhere, you are BS on this review. Nice Try!!!
Jill calls bs on tim’s gooshing love fest with the qx60, lmao, you go, Jill!
Those headrest are ridiculous..
Yes!
The seats actually recline which improves the angle of the headrests.
BS Review, all points raised are subjective!
I don't get what this woman is complaining about..just a lot of "I don't know's." Yeah, seems like she doesn't know what she's talking about.
Every car review is subjective. 50 people will give you 50 different opinions. Your review is the most important.
The exterior is eye catching, and I can overlook the interior, except for the headrests.
Same but the phone overheating would be a dealbreaker for me. If I paid for wireless charging I want to be able to use it.
The map on the screen DEFINITELY takes up the entire screen with the push of ONE button on the screen! It's the 1 with 2 arrows pointing horizontally in opposite directions, pretty intuitive actually. SMFH
Spot on honest/accurate review. My girlfriend has the exact same 2023 model and my 2021 Dodge Durango is far more comfortable to drive with a better infotainment system that has sharper /more well designed graphics with higher screen resolution, physical buttons to compliment the touch screen controls and a better stereo. The seats are hard to me in the QX60 while the leather with suede insert seats in the Durango are very comfortable. Also, the V6 isn't as snappy or powerful feeling as the one in my Durango even though they both have similar specs with mine only having a handful. I love to test drive and review cars/trucks... She is quite correct...The QX60 feels way more Pathfinder than it should. I test drove one and just like the QX60 wasn't impressed. I also didn't like the drive height. I sit higher in my Durango and love it. The Infiniti has this weird roofline shape that's hard to get used to when looking forward from the passenger seat. Even with the performance hood on my Durango, I atill have better visibility. One last thing about the QX60 that irks me.... if the front row headrests are adjustable, it's hard to figure out how. I wanted to rest my head as I drove and couldn't get them to budge. THe next road trip we took, I told my gf "We are taking my Durango!" Came back to add that the Durango idles quieter outside of the vehicle and the QX60 has significantly more wind and road noise coming into the cabin at highway speeds.
I've not ever been in one, but I have looked at the outside at a dealer. To me, the way the vehicle handles, drives, and looks are the most important things. I've no interest in any of the features that make it a cellphone on wheels. The third row headrests...that could stand improvement. The interior design other than that looks very appealing to me. Nissan/Infiniti are one in the same company and all the manufacturers share parts/tech. No negative on that. I like the exterior, too. The seat comfort, I can't comment on the QX60's, but I can say that the seats in the QX55 are very good and ditto for the Nissan Altima SR that I had. I could take long trips and be quite comfortable. I'm 5'8". And...yeah the CVT is not a deal killer for me on the QX55. It works very well. Acceleration, excellent. Passing, excellent. If you want more, you should be looking at a race car.
I am expecting to see Tim at the next livestream wearing a T-Shirt that says, "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"
Fun review Jill. 😂
😂
I agree with Jill Ciminillo
First, there is no high beam, second, there is no driving exhaust system, third, there is no hybrid system, fourth, there are no dual tailgate exhaust valves, fifth, the third row seat height is too low.
Don’t forget, this Infiniti QX60 uses such a large displacement 3.5 V6 engine because many people don’t want to buy it. This brand will soon go bankrupt. The transmission and fan often break, which is also a precursor to bankruptcy.
Oh my….😊
The Lincoln Navigator is a School Bus.
In general it’s not that competitive vs other luxury SUVs
That being said, I would much prefer the qx60 to the Lexus TX. The TX is worse than this in so many ways
its just a upscale pathfinder with a better interior
@@BigAltimaEnergy719 the tx is also just an upscale three row highlander
Both Lexus and Infiniti have some truly mediocre offerings but infiniti has better looks inside and outside to compensate somewhat
@@naveenthemachine Give Infiniti some time to update their lineup this is just one of a few they're coming out with
@@BigAltimaEnergy719 so far it’s not enough. But I think with genesis in existence it’s too late for them
@@naveenthemachine I’m a truck and suv guy but if I were looking at a luxury car, Genesis would be my first brand to look at aside from European ones
The interior looks stupid but the V6 motor makes it a top contender. V6✅️
There are a lot of SUVs that have 3 rows and they really should just have 2. The tire wheel combo here look odd in size or... hmmm
What Professional Race Car driver Sara Hunter thinks of the QX60 ua-cam.com/video/rvagfddDEzI/v-deo.html and Car Mom thought of the QX60 ua-cam.com/video/DqDx583NS3o/v-deo.html Always nice to have more then one opinion
That touch control panel alone would eliminate this car for me, that looked annoying
Thats whst you call nick picking the QX60 look muvh better than a lot of those SUV'Sout there they domot donot fo the same thi g to lexus and Toyota some of their products look alike , i can listen constructive criticism criticism but not loads of BS
Noti gang on deck
Tell em Jill !!!!!
See Tim, this is what happens when you only give 2% raises…🤣
Wait. He gave raises? 🤔
All these things are overpriced. If you can afford this or a Lincoln Navigator, then you are talking for the rich.
On second thought, seeing that dash changed my mind. This thing will never ever seperate me from my money. No thank you! ❌️
And Tim you’re out to lunch if you think that interior is one of the most luxurious. Even for the money it’s not
This suffers from the same problem most “luxury” car interiors have - serious over styling.
Go Jill go!
Does that have the worst tranny made...( Jatco) like all the junk Nissans have? CVT
No. Only the tiny Nissan have the cvt, I hear the news ones are better????
This one has the ZF. For the other models, just change the fluid every 36,000 miles.
Honda Pilot dropped the 9-speed ZF for 2023 and ole Nissan gotta a deal on it! Bargains are us.
No CVT here
I don't know why people buy Infinity when you could just buy a Nissan.
Exactly
The same reason why people buy Lexus, Acura, and others.
@@romegilliam9146 there’s more differentiation between Lexus/Toyota than Infiniti/Nissan these days …
I'm with you Jill...That interior us butt ugly.
On paper sure but have you seen the Lexus Tx? It has a worse interior than the qx60
