5000 it is... if I can find one for $10 more. 7000's toothbrush is handy until it breaks & my next one doesn't fit the custom charger that's integrated (esp if I went Oral B on the brush) & that hinged lid is a weak spot asking to be snapped. Seems like they ran out of ideas. The 3000 is perfect if not for the 5000's magnetic holder removing a potential early morning sleepy stupid moment of pulling the handle & snapping that plastic or similar. Thanks for the comparison.
Hi Alex. The brush is good. It is the ExpertClean brush reviewed here - www.electricteeth.com/philips-sonicare-expertclean-review/). But truthfully it is more toothbrush than you need.
There is a corded & a cordless 3000 model if that is what you have been looking at. Here's a video about the cordless model: ua-cam.com/video/6X0Dq3CSyuE/v-deo.html
I am not sure which one specifically you are referring to. But the answer is no. Based on what I know it is unlikely to offer any whitening benefit. What it will offer will likely be temporary.

Thanks! It's very useful information!

All are perfectly fine. The cheaper 3000 is my pick.

You mentioned the toothbrush of the Power Flosser & Toothbrush System 7000. How does the toothbrush fare?

How does the led affect my bridge teeth?
The LED? I'm not sure I understand. Using a water flosser is perfectly fine on a bridge.
Why does amazon say this is cordless when u just said it isnt?

Have you used the whitening brush led light toothbrush?
