Wow! I've had gnocchi once and liked it a lot. Your pasta and shrimp looked delicious as well - huge shrimp! Aiden's pizza was a bit small but looked good as well.

Yes I think it was because when they first opened it was so popular people were getting upset at the wait to sit and eat. So to be safe we called in a reservation, but since they aren't that new anymore I think the craze calmed down.

Thank you for your review. When I first saw your plate, first thing I thought that's too little of a portion for me . But like you said it's made from scratch. I'm not into pricey food. Lol
Surprisingly, those fancy restaurants with food that looks small fills up most people. Even big guys say that it's too small, but once they finish they're stuffed. But I think it is a healthy portion. We eat way too much in our country compared to other country's portions. I understand about not being into pricey food.
Regarding the gelato on the menu at 1:09, it states that it's VEGAN gelato. Do you know how they make it? I had a vegan gelato in Singapore that tasted just like ice cream texture-wise. Not the usual icy texture like oat or soy milk "ice creams." They said it is made from whipped coconut oil-cream. Being lactose intolerant, that kind of thing is important to me.
I'm not sure what it is made out of. The pistachio was creamier than the fruit ones we had. The fruit ones were more icy. But I thought it tasted good for a non dairy product.

Yes the chef is Japanese and makes his own pasta. He owns 2 other restaurants in Japan.
