Can't imagine my favorite newspaper taking us through the spread of dakhani cuisine. Thanks. And good to see other than usual food joints.
Finally someone is talking about bengaluri home food.
The first Muslims who came to Banglore were horse handlers and breeders , like Aga Abbas Ali and Ali Asker
Such a great theme, love the dakhni food videos. Keep them coming!
Ok, now you are spilling all the beans!
Nice video btw.. haven’t seen it in any other mainstream media
the beauty of Kutt is it keeps getting better everyday u keep it. u can keep it for weeks or even months and it will only get tastier!

And yeah the girl taking the interview is quite cute☺️🫶🏻.
Yeah we have a wide variety of tastes in cooking. And the tastes are even better in those below poverty homes. You might wanna visit and taste. Nice work DH 👍
We have a similar ;preparation in old Mysore region called kattu. When we make with horse grams we call it huruli Kattu.
This is a Specific type of gravy made by the stock of Horsegram
Added with kheema kofta .. Mouth watering.. one of My Mom’s Tastiest recipes
Super hungry making, craving inducing episode
Dakhni people are Urdu speaking South Indian Muslims living in the states of Telangana,Karnataka,Andhra Pradesh.

Kutt is just the stock of the horse gram cooked with masala and other ingredients and is without meat balls or eggs originally.
Looks very appetizing and you have made it look very easy to prepare. Is it ??😊

Can i come over !! Yummy spread. Kutt❤
In search of western food, we Indians are loosing authentic and traditional dishes prepared by our grandparents! We should Focus and inherit those dishes. And everyone knows that they taste a lot better than these so called Pizzas, sandwiches and burgers!!
Having said that, i am just speaking my mind! You have all the rights in this world to choose and have ur fav food!
Pretty lady
I went to this place in Frazer Town and frankly speaking did not like the food. I dont say its bad, its just not my type.
sharief bhai is overrated and expensive.
Instead of doing Lingayat and Gowda food in Bangalore Islamic deccan herald bother about this so called Dakhni food, who the hell is financing Deccan Herald.
Lingayat are from Northern Karnataka. Dakhnis too lived in Bengaluru and Mysore region.
You have the right of not appreciating them, their influences, etc. But you have no right to deny their existence and their history here, in Bengaluru.
