What a shame about the bugs and little flying critters 🌲🌳, (keep repellent in your pack, just in case), beautiful place though, loved the old Thames Barge! And Cider time was good, I've had that one myself and I agree 9/10🍺. Andy. ⛺️⛺️⛺️
Didn't get lost then 👌. Not a fan of the woods then 🤔 know what you mean to a degree, I try to setup somewhere on the edge or near a clearing . Anyway nice adventure and good setup ( apart from the bugs 😂) . Take care Tom , avoid those posh areas 😂
When you said in part 1 you had picked a tarp an were walking Tunstall Forest I was instantly concerned for your sleep. My wife and I have walked the Sandlings and the midge tried to devour us when we stopped for lunch in the wood. Beautiful area. Good vid.
Tom a company called "Military 1st.co.uk" are having a 15% off everything sale! Up until 1st of August, I've used them before and found them really good! If you have time too put out a small vid, to let your subs, know, as I'm not up and running on filming yet! Hope this helps people! (I'm not associated with them) Andy.
totally understand about being board in the woods alone, and yeah a good view does help with that. Its all pine forests here in north wales and I hate it when they are planted in long lines coz thats just freaky when the fog rolls in. Big problem here in wales with mosquitoes with all the lakes ,rivers, canals ponds and standing water so what I do is get those coal sticks for the pocket warmers ,light the end, roll it up like a sausage roll in green moss, bang a stick in the ground up wind then split it half way down to make it like tongs and wedge the moss sausage roll in it .. Thats the best thing thats worked for me in these soggy mountains over the years.. Might even do a vid on it soon . Great vid buddy.
Nice walk and camp Tom. Anything that bites seems to love me and that's why the hooped bivi is king. Good to see cider time back. As always Tom. Look forward to the next one Best regards Kai.
cheers mate. i know, i'm taking that or a tent in future for woodland camps. i'm thinking of cutting down the cider reviews cos it seems like some people only really care about them, that's not my target market lol.
liking these walk & camps tom.i feel your pain too, lol,as much as i might like the woods,my hearts with the sea.i need to move nearer it.& i need to get out more!
the views weren't great on this one! felt very claustrophobic amongst the trees, i remember getting out of the forest onto the roads in the morning felt great! cheers pal.
I love cream soda lol We have them mozzy head nets, you could really scare someone if they stumbled across you in the woods when you had that on. Maybe read a book when you are bored, or just take more cider next time ;-)
Lol, 😂 thanks for keeping it real mate.....another good one, Tom 👍🏻
Andy Wells cheers mate
Cool idea having info on post.

Nice one Tom. I like a hammock with a bug net in a forest, makes it much easier to find a spot on uneven ground. Take care mate.

Tom , I'm thinking of getting a Alpkit Hunka Bivi, what's your opinion? What's the condensation like in it? Cheers Bruv, Andy ⛺️🔥🌳
Picalo 64 condensation is with any bivvy bag mate. I like it personally. it's light and packs down small into itself.
