Tom and Dawn you are both lovely people. You keep us entertained on your walks, and always tell us about the local history, or things of interest which are always interesting. Beautiful area around the reservoirs. Now I know where the name Pargeter probably came from. Nice choice of meals, and I love the sleeping bag story! Also the passing place....trust you guys to pick that up!Thanks again, you lovely people!!😊,🌻
hi Tom and Dawn lovely frist video of this walk some Awesome scenery I look forward to watching part two . stay safe and will see you on the next one 😀
Brilliant video! I'm an old neighbour of Dawn's, she mentioned that you both go on these walks and wildcamps and I had actually watched one of your videos about Warley place years ago when researching about the place before I even knew Dawn. I'm a member of the gym that you work in. I've been on that beach where Orwell bridge is many a time as my eldest daughters Dad lives in Ipswich not far from this part. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series 😊
Wow what a small world! You'll have to say hello next time you're in the gym. It's a lovely area south Suffolk. We're fortunate to have all this on our doorstep. Oh yeah Warley Place is awesome a true hidden gem. Thanks for watching.
I tell you what… Dawn can really motor 👍… I can’t walk that fast even without a pack on! Respect ✌️. Those meals looked nice 😋. Hope the tent worked well 🤞
Hi Tom n Dawn. I highly recommend the Butt n Oyster. You're absolutely correct. They do a cracking fish n chips, and the Adnams Wild Wave cider is so refreshing, and you're gonna love. Further along the route, Stutton Ness is always a good bet for a pitch, too. I believe you've camped their previously, and l have as well. Enjoy. 😊
Yeah the pub was awesome been there a couple of times. Could live there. Yes camped at Stutton Ness. We had planned to stop there and camp for the final night but you'll have to wait and see what happens there. Really good spot and will be going back.
I love the Trimley station to Ipswich walk, it's a special one with very few people about. I grab the bus when I get to the edge of Ipswich and it drops me off at whetherspoons for refuelling. 3.5hrs quick walk from station to bus stop, incase anyone reading this wants to try.
Lovely camp , orwell good for fishing bait , digging up king ragworm then off to fish Aldebrough , was down the bridge back in 2022 about this time , if you need ration packs and camping gear with military isotonic drinks etc and military surplus food go where i go preppers shop uk in Newquay, my spare rucksack full of energy bars etc . very cheap as well .
Great Vid Tom, one note , when your footage shows Dawn walking along the road from Nacton/to Nacton ? she is walking with the direction traffic on the road itself, instead of against it, be safe walk on the side of the road so you are facing oncoming traffic, that way you see it even if they don't see you, and you can jump out of the way, we don't want to be shouting "Medic" and peeling you off the tarmac. Cheers :)

👋👋
Nice one tom and dawn funny zip story certainly got to grips with the go pro cheers
Cheers mate yeah still a few bits to learn and improve on which I like. But I've got the basics down I think.
10 years since I visited that bird hide. Lovely area, used to live at T st M. Walked or cycled the marshes regularly. Piece of paradise.
It was lovely there. And only five minutes from Felixstowe. We actually preferred the Orwell to the Stour estuary.
Best wishes from derbyshire....
👍🙏

Thanks Guys.
Great video.

"Butt & Oyster" made me chuckle to.

Looks a good walk. I'm localish in Stowmarket but never really walked anywhere. The "butt" and oyster is a good pub

Refuelling the bus or you at whetherspoons?! This could so easily be a lovely or drunken walk🤣
