  • This Fennel and Orange salad is super tasty and very refreshing as well. I love Fennel salad recipes and especially when its raw and thinly shaved. I hope you enjoy this Fennel salad as much as my family does.

I tried fennel for the first time using this recipe. My whole family and I loved it so much. It's rare that we come home without fennel. We love making it regularly. We love this recipe so much that we never feel like checking any other fennel salad recipe. Thank you so much for amazing recipes 💐

So strange to see all of his shorts (high energy, sgt gilbert) first on my recommended, than see a 7+ min long video of him so chill and low energy. Love his videos regardless.

We love fennel salads..........I shave the fennel, and finishing it sometime with oranges, sometime I add lemon juice, sometime with thinly sliced stalk celery, and every time sprinkled with pepitos (green pumpkin seeds). Your salad looks very good.

Arrived here from your great TikTok. Digging the decaf mode here in contrast.
As a lifetime skeptic of fruit in salads, I made this tonight as a dare to myself not having any familiarity with fennel and tarragon.
What a shocking surprise! Bravo, Sonny. The flavor is unexpectedly subtle and the licorice notes really work. Thanks... and more please.

I just made this using white wine vinegar; only a tablespoon of olive oil and two teaspoons dried tarragon because I didn't have fresh. I also used honey instead of agave and it is delicious. (I also misread the directions and used juice from a full small lemon. It still tastes great! I think I'll continue to use the extra lemon juice.) You primarily taste the citrus/tarragon combination. The fennel adds a fresh taste with just a hint of licorice. Even if you don't like licorice (which I don't especially), try this. It is really good- even with just a tiny fraction of the oil called for. I will definitely be making it again. Thanks for the recipe.

Nice recipe Sonny. I will def have to try this. I am a chef by trade so always looking for new recipes - but hey that looked like much more than a tsp of agave lol!!! JK, nice job. Great job with the knife sharping too, people are always confused about this.

Sonny! I have to make this recipe for the family's Easter Sunday potluck because it just looks too exquisite to not, since it will be up against ham and cheesy potatoes. Meanwhile, as a total Sonnyphile, I also love your candied nuts technique... Would I be making a mistake to place on the side some of your candied pecans and maybe some either kalamata or castelvetrano olive pieces?
Seriously, I need your help, because everything that you teach works out great for me, but sometimes, i can't help my tweaking tendencies. If you say no, I'll understand and be grateful, yet it almost seems like a good idea since it will make for a really pretty table and all the china and silver are going to be out!
    HELP!
