- In a recent development reported from Dimapur, the NSCN(IM) cadres and Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles allegedly got engaged in a verbal argument on October 21 morning over a misconception. As per sources, NSCN(IM) cadres allegedly stopped the Assam Rifles team at Doyapur when they went to Hazadisa Middle School to measure the area for the repair of the school. As per reports, the NSCN cadres were waiting to receive and escort NSCN(IM) President Q Tuccu and Vice President Tongmeth Wangnao, who were on their way to council headquarters in Hebron from Dimapur. A huge number of NSCN(IM) cadres allegedly intercepted the initiative held at Hazadisa School and tried to stop Assam Rifles on the ground doing basic necessities for school development. This led to a heated stand off between both the groups. As per sources, the NSCN(IM) cadres allegedly snatched AK-47 rifles from 3 Assam Rifle jawans. However, no firing or physical fighting took place between both parties

PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee after his visit to china in 2003 signed a joint declaration with china in which India recognised the autonomous tibet region as part of the territory of peoples republic of china. So would China sacrifice tibet for the nagas? Its a joke. Unless India revoke the agreement and start supporting a free tibet the chinese will not interfere in the NE apart from its historical claim lines of the LAC including some parts of Arunachal Pradesh.
