I think instead of a Fortnite movie, about battle Royale, we should get a Fortnite show or interactive game (kind of like a Telltale game) and each episode would be about a unique character that we have yet to have any significant lore on (like Nezumi or Ava) and it would explain who this character actually is. Their reality of origin, what our character does and their abilities, and their story that shapes them into the skin we know in fortnite. The end of each episode will show how each character entered Reality 0 (the battle royale island), via sideways rifts, or through willingly or forcefully going there in some way.

A great way to introduce the Fortnite island would be for when the protagonist is rifted to the island (if that’s how it goes) they will be put into the middle of a chaotic war zone full of different pop-culture characters (ready player one moment) with no clue what’s going on.
If they had to re explain all the lore in the movie, as a lore enjoyer, I would not care. We need more background information then we currently have and I would like to see a lot of the older events play out in cutscene form rather then only knowing lore through quests and few cutscenes. Which we need more cutscenes especially after completing story quests
While it would be very expensive and very hard to coordinate, I would REALLY enjoy a movie about Jones recruiting Kratos, Street Fighter, Daryll and Michonne, Mando, Master Chief, and everyone else from Chapter 2 season 5. Based on Jones styles, he did 88 total reality jumps and spent a decent chunk of time in each reality. I think it would work for fans and regular audiences, since everyone who actually knows who Jones is wants more of him and people who don't wouldn't know anyone from Fortnite anyways, so it doesn't really matter who they pick
I think a fortnite movie could work. Spiderverse proved that you can have your cake and eat it too with a fantastic story and being enhanced by the other references to spiderman. They just need to put their efforts in the right places. And if it does get made, I would NOT expect it to be oscar worthy. I'm very happy with it being a campy popcorn flick.

Midas is motive would be to use the device to break the loop but the device would cause massive destruction and possibly destroy the island (basically Midas is an anti villain and isn’t really “evil”, just blinded by his motive), Skye would get a few characters (Fishstick, Omega, Jules, Meowscles, Peely, Rust Lord, and Drift) to stop Midas before it’s too late leading to the climax with the device being activated and Skye and her crew trying to stop Midas, but it would fail and the island would flood. The movie would end with Midas getting killed by the shark and Skyes crew building the Fortilla with some of the C2S3 battle pass skins and them having to try and survive on the new island (and would probably be continued because let’s be honest Fortnite movie would make A LOT of money).The movie would be animated and made by dreamworks btw

Bro, to be completely honest, this would not work. If it is made as you described or in any way similar, it would be just another hollywood cashgrab. It eould also be difficult to have the movie while making it appeal to fans sinc ethe characters in the loop canonically cannot speak. This means they would need to introduce a lore accurate way for verbal communication like the IO device but knowing how movies are made, they'll just break the lore. In addition, it will absolutely just be another Ready Player One if made. I am planning on making films in the future so this can be something to remedy. You also mentioned the game having an event to hype up the movie. I think the best way for Epic to approach this would be to make another soft reboot (kind of like ch5) but everything is new. The 1st season of that chapter will be the skins and characters of the movie. The movie will take place on that new island. New story, new environment, new potential. This frees it from the bonds that the past 4 chapters have on it while tying it directly to the game. Understand that we're not ignoring or retconing ANY of the previous chapters, just starting at a point where there's more wiggle room for a film that, at minimum, appeals to general viewers and fans while staying true to the game. This would require lots of planning from Epic. Maybe after that movie, we will get more work for the previous 4 chapters to bridge the story together. We get a good movie (whether it takes itself seriously or not) and it opens uo new potential. The problem with FNaF was that it came across as a fanmade thing. It did great as you described but the only thing keeping it from being a full-on fanmade film were two specific actors (I'm sure you can guess). They tweaked the story to make it fresh but they also streamlined it which damaged it a tiny bit. Again, fun movie but we can see its flaws. Same would go with Fortnite, these are things we'd want to avoid in it's movie.

Think about this: every chapter is a season, and every episode could have BR episodes and Live Event episodes.

I think a perfect movie about fortnite would be about the battle royal, on the first season for those OG vibes. the main character would have to try to win and live but slowly learns about the loop, he'd have to learn about the IO and eventually escape after an epic battle with IO agents, this would not only capture the core gamplay loop of fortnite but open up many possible cameos and easter eggs
I personally disagree, my idea for a Fortnite movie would be this:
The movie is based off C2S2, the protagonist is Skye and her main motive is to kill Shadows leader, Chaos Agent (who would be the “main villain” putt that in quotations for a reason I’ll get to later) because according to Midas, skyes mom used to be one of Midas agents and was killed by Chaos Agent
But at the end of the second act it could be revealed that Chaos Agent was a robot created by Midas and the ghost vs shadow war happened to distract people from the device, it would also be revealed that Midas was skyes moms true killer (making him the actual villain)
For some reason I think Skye could be a great protagonist and Midas can be an amazing villain
@@MichealAfton1983 that would be a perfect, as a squeal. if it was the first movie alot of info like the IO, the loop, why people even fight in it, whats it like? would have to be either expositioned lamely or just not included. also it sorta breaks the established lore since midas and skye were buddies and there would be much less room for funny colab Easter eggs and stuff since there is a serious revenge plot going on start to finnish kinda breaking the vibe of fortnite being this silly game. One last thing, how tf did skyes mom die if there is a loop?

2-It could still seem like Midas and Skye are friends until the twist (keep in mind Midas would be a twist villain in this concept), it would be a retcon from the games though like you said
3-Although there could still be collab Easter eggs, id actually rather not have that many since id want it to focus more of story then pop culture references
4-the movie would take place outside the loop, so she died outside it (which would mean she dies for good, this happened with fish sticks in the Batman comics)

I’ve said this a few times but imo the best way to do a movie is to adapt chapter 2 season 2, it has a good cast, it could have good humor, a good soundtrack, a good story, etc

I think Fortnite is Save The World and I think BR is like a DLC to the game.
It was originally the DLC, but people adored STW so much that BR became the main mode.

Bro, to be completely honest, this would not work. If it is made as you described or in any way similar, it would be just another hollywood cashgrab. It eould also be difficult to have the movie while making it appeal to fans sinc ethe characters in the loop canonically cannot speak. This means they would need to introduce a lore accurate way for verbal communication like the IO device but knowing how movies are made, they'll just break the lore. In addition, it will absolutely just be another Ready Player One if made. I am planning on making films in the future so this can be something to remedy. You also mentioned the game having an event to hype up the movie. I think the best way for Epic to approach this would be to make another soft reboot (kind of like ch5) but everything is new. The 1st season of that chapter will be the skins and characters of the movie. The movie will take place on that new island. New story, new environment, new potential. This frees it from the bonds that the past 4 chapters have on it while tying it directly to the game. Understand that we're not ignoring or retconing ANY of the previous chapters, just starting at a point where there's more wiggle room for a film that, at minimum, appeals to general viewers and fans while staying true to the game. This would require lots of planning from Epic. Maybe after that movie, we will get more work for the previous 4 chapters to bridge the story together. We get a good movie (whether it takes itself seriously or not) and it opens uo new potential. The problem with FNaF was that it came across as a fanmade thing. It did great as you described but the only thing keeping it from being a full-on fanmade film were two specific actors (I'm sure you can guess). They tweaked the story to make it fresh but they also streamlined it which damaged it a tiny bit. Again, fun movie but we can see its flaws. Same would go with Fortnite, these are things we'd want to avoid in it's movie.
I actually have an idea on how they can adapt a previous chapter/season story and still working, I’ve commented it a lot on this video but here’s my pitch:
The movie should be based on C2S2 with Skye as the main protagonist, here’s what her story could be:
The opening could be Midas and Skye meeting for the first time and would establish a few important things
