Ever wondered how life is with 24 hours of daylight? Life under the midnight sun is quite different from how this part of the world looks like during winter. 24 hours of daylight vs 24 hours of darkness! We were super lucky with the conditions and made the most out of it. Climbing mountains after midnight in full sunlight, camping in the van and using the kayak to find our own private beach. If you haven't experienced this phenomenon yet, put it on your bucket list! Highly recommended.

Once again great video Simon, my wife and I are planning our first visit to Norway in our Vw last week of September first week of October next year Hope to get some great weather and hikes in plus hopefully see The northern lights .

As usual a fantastic video again of your traveling! Must be getting quite chilly in Norway now but the views are breathtaking. I've been in Tromso a few years ago as a start/endpoint of a week ski touring trip with a campervan. Great adventure and still planning to come back!

Timeline that I got from your looking at european campionships while driving. We might have been so close to crossing paths. As we were at at Alta and Gorsabrua at that time and also near Tromssa. And our camper of choice was '88 T3 matkaaja conversion.

Thank you! I am not that familiar with renting vans, but there is a company called Arctic Campers that provide some good looking vans!

I got a Aqua Marina Kanu (drop stitch technology like the SUPs) this spring, we used it in Sweden and hauled it up there on the bike rack of our vw. We love the way this New inflatable Kanu cut through the water, especially in comparison to the „regular inflatable Kanus we had before.

Thanks for watching! We have the Sevylor K2 Pointer, it has performed very well, although I think it's hard to get these days as it's an older model. Buy something at a higher price point with better quality and I guess you'll be satisfied. Just remember it needs to dry up properly before storing it for longer periods of time, in order to keep it lasting longer👍🏼

And I absolutely agree with @Simon getting the inflatable dry after use is something to consider. Even with the built in water release valve, it does take some patience… unless your travel vehicle is equipped with pressurized air for reinflating tires or drying out water gear, I imagine that would make process fast and simple 😃
How cold was the water for your swim?
I guess 10-12 degrees celsius!
