Much respect and props to Hoppos for teaching us DIY guys at home for our rides. However I’d like to make a suggestion that there is no need for centering when the original bracket already will have the y bone centered up once it’s bolted back to the frame.. then you grab a level and your other bracket , make sure it’s straight with the original and mark your holes for the other side and start drilling.. if you’re changing trailing arms you should put them on first before bolting the rear end to the y bone to make sure you have the correct distance.. screw the y bone in or out what ever is needed to match up the hole with the rear end once the trialing arms are bolted in place. Then you’re all done. I don’t see a need for all the strapping and measuring. I all ears if anyone has any suggestions as well thank you.
I will be doing as much as I can on my ride to keep my money in my pockets ! Thanks Alex you the man !!

Great information keep up the good work 💯✅💯✅💯✅💯✅💯✅💯✅💯✅💯👌🏻🤙🏻
Shouldnt the 2nd bracket be in the exact same position as the original one? Meaning couldnt you just measure it and drill the holes without doing any of the rear end sideways positioning and using the straps? I have the frame reinforcement bars from global west so i already have holes drilled on the driver side... So therefor the Y-Bone should line right up already???
Your lexicon is great,also detailed
alex your a genius keep up the videos thanks for information !
Great install video thank you it answered a good number of questions for me. The one thing I still would like to know is how does it do if you attempt to 3 wheel ( may have missed that in the video)?

Ever did one on a coupe deville? Looking at options for mine
I have a 68 impala fastback. It is stock. What do I add to make it centered? A wishbone or a Y bone? I have skirts and can’t put them on because my axle shifts when I lower it.

Could you do baby bunny hops with this y bone ?
💯 💯💯💯👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Do I need my rear end shortened before I instal the y bone ? Or just installing the y bone will be sufficient to ride with skirts ? Thank you
From what I have gathered… (you may have figured it out already) the y bone eliminates the rear ended from moving to the drivers side when goin up and down thus you should be able to run skirts with this setup. The rear will travel up and down. And won’t move to the side. With wires it may be tight. But I think the should work too.
Can I use this on a 1969 Lincoln mark iii ?
How much for a 4link rear for 98 Lincoln town car for high rear lock up

Anthony Rodriguez 2.99$plus tax u looking at 🤔let me see 3.50$ out the door😁
Y bone wasn’t ideal for me. To much rear end movement down the highway felt like it wobbled a heap. Every after multiple adjustments and trials. Ended up putting the panhard rod back in
Really? weird
Helloo there!
My question is;
IS THE 3WHEEL MOTION EASIER TO DO WITH Y-BONE THAN WITH STUCK PARTS?
If your looking to three wheel wishbone is what you wanna run not a y bone
So this Eliminates the panhard bar?
Yes it does
Cherry Alex do you carry a firewall shave kit for 64
No sorry we dont
Why fo you need a y bone if your putting in air ?
To keep the rear end centered up so it dont shift over any more
If I install a y bone, do I still need to shorten my rear end to run on 13x7s? (With skirts)
Yes
Or a toyota rear end swap
