ETS2 is the only simulator in the world that does not simulate anything. Everyone crashes and nobody breaks anything, the trucks are still shiny and beautiful.
Its a simulator of trucking, not simulating of breaking and physics
@@Uzbek_from_Brooklyn Agree. You are not supposed to crash. It’s supposed to be a simulator. If people don’t play as they should it’s not the developers problem.
Damages are simulated mechanically, though. Engine malfunctions, losing gears, loose traction, etc. If the damage is high enough, the truck won't start.

There's a couple of routes that are ehm, notorious for not only amounts of traffic, but also the high amount of people who can't or don't want to drive normally...Calais-Duisburg is a well-known one and I have heard some people who actively avoid that route for that particular reason.
