I'm 33, got into Metallica around St. Anger (God i was such a metal nub) however the only other band that ever hit me as strong as metallica did was Trivium. I've seen Trivium about 5 times already. Cheers

Fuck I remember at the glass house heafy called me out for not raising my devil fingers and stopped the show until I did, I was young and shy, but that was bad ass, Matt knows how to put on a show
At my last Trivium concert, Matt threw his guitar to his tech as he jumped off the stage to stop a fight and make sure a girl that got hit was ok. He had the crew bring out bottles of water so he could cool the pit down. Pre-covid... it was awesome that he took a sip from every bottle before he threw them to the crowd. The man is a legend. Always aware of the crowd, always making sure they are having a great time, fully engaged in the music.
@@xDeedles I never said I would drink it...nor could I from the balcony... this was pre-covid...back when people would stop washing parts of their body touched by a celebrity. The important take away here is that Matt saw a bunch of people sweating their asses off, getting fired up, and violent, so be cooled things down.
Concert water isn't cheap either...they were like half the cost of the ticket.
Fuck man, Matt is a good dude. The whole band is actually. That's an awesome story.

@@daewooharvey I've never asked for either, so, I have no idea if that is true of the places I've been. That's typical bottled water prices for most of the better venues here.

If you want it as a download... You can just google something like "UA-cam Downloader" and there's a bunch of sites that'll convert any youtube vid to a MP3 file or whatever you want.

Some of the most fun I’ve had was seeing trivium live at Rockfest in 2016, one of the best festival lineups ever and I remember how fantastic Matt was performing In Waves even on a secondary stage.
Not going to lie... An amazing Friday. First Pokemon announces several amazing games for the 25th anniversary special then this!!! Each acoustic album cover is getting better and better!!!!

Met Matt a few times, awesome guy, great shows, one time he exited stage while killing it on the guitar and I turned around and he was right behind me. He didn't seem to care when I told him I named my dog heafy though haha.
Including bonus tracks was an amazing choice. A Grey So Dark and Shattering the Skies Above are songs I love more than most tracks on the regular edition. These are all of my favorites from the In Waves era, and I'm really excited about this setlist. Great performance, Lord Heafy! 🖤
