I have noticed in the carhartt wip shops that the material is lighter and softer, and the taper is a bit to much at the bottom for me. I think these shops are for the trendy young. I have trapsied around umpteen vintage shops, and have managed to buy myself a number of pairs of very robust carhartt carpenter Jean's, some of them double fronted, and a number of very robust carhartt jackets and coats. In contrast as mentioned: the new fashion versions in their shops, are nowhere near as good, and robust as the ones l have. I think they still make the robust versions....but the ones l looked at in their shops were quite flimsy, and were made in china.
Are you shopping at an actual carhartt store or the website. They still make the USA made duck canvas. Even with the non USA versions, they are still a washed duck, which is why they feel “flimsy”. Nonetheless it’s still duck canvas, so it’s sturdy and I feel like it holds it’s shape pretty well especially when starched. Been wearing mine 5 days a week for 3 months or so now and still no tears and I do a lot electrical rough in
@@olvinm130 l live in the UK.....l use mainly vintage stores for Jean's, but have also got a few items from the CARHARTT WIP shop. They are well made, you cannot fault them, but the label has: MADE IN CHINA on. I have just been in a few days ago and got three pairs of double fronted duck Jean's, and they are all very thick robust duck material, with the hammer loop, treble stitched, and tool side pockets. Despite the China label they are really robust and good quality......so the chinese do at least make some items that are made to last.
I just picked up a new pair of these and is it just me or are the new pairs/some pairs straight up parachutes. The ones you model here look like they aren’t so big at all, but the new ones and even some old look like a kid wearing his dads clothes.
Just a tip for anyone in my predicament. Im 5’6 and wear a 36 (i typically wear a 38 and use a belt) the bigger waist size you wear and the shorter you are the wider these will look on you. Im fine with straight fit pants but there is a point where its just too wide. Sad i cant wear mine
I’m kinda confused lol. I’m around 5’9 and skinny. I usually wear 33x30, but feel like I should go a little bit larger in size. Like, I want a baggy look but not too baggy, if that makes sense. Any recommendations?
@@OneJuan0633 imo if you wear a smaller size than i do you should be fine. It shouldnt be too baggy but a good baggy. Just when you start getting into bigger sizes i guess companies start overcompensating on the bagginess and then it just ends up looking like your wearing parachute pants. So you should be okay tbh
@@jpcustodio3973 right. I just don’t want them to look excessively baggy. I forgot to mention I wear a belt for my 33x30s. My actual waist fit is 31. I was thinking maybe go for a 34 waist and increase length size too (32)

do you know what the waist and length is on the brown ones at 5:50 ? i’m trying to find that fit but i’m not entirely sure what size that is. i’m like 5’11 130lbs
For carhartt double knees, Where should I base the length? From the crotch down or from the waist down? I will be buying online, I only know my wait but not sure of the lenth. My dilemma is I might get it really short or long
Pants inseam is measured from the crotch seam. There’s tons of info about how to measure pants online so no idea why you have to ask in a UA-cam comment section
Hey :/ was hoping somebody can help me out and clear something up for me. Do they not sell size 28/29 waist??? Searching the internet and can’t find hardly anything. My hope is that the sizes run small & that there 28 is a 31. If anyone can help me figuring out sizing or link me to some amazing double knee jeans that will fit me I’d appreciate it

That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like Mr Daniel James

Daniel James has been managing my trade for months and I keep making profits every week, I made $9,130 last week...
