Georgy Girl is the show stopping song to end the first act of this new Australian musical. It features Pippa Grandison as Judith Durham and Sophie Carter as Beverley Sheehan - Judith's sister.

Love those trippy 60's fashions, the song "Georgy Girl" still holds up 50 years later. So beautiful, and yet, SO melodic. The COOLEST thing since Promises, Promises and its recent revival ever hit Broadway, can't wait for the movie versions for both. Don't know if that'll ever happen though, wishful thinking, anyway. Sadly the Australian production of Georgy girl went down the johnny flusher,and the bro of the late Judith Durham husband Patrick wrote the draft of the show and now its a total flop.feel bad for the cast and crew.now i would go back and retool the show with the version from the film and bring back Pipa and the opening of the show based on the film using the film version so im saying if they retooled the show it might be a hit around the world and keeping the legacy of Judith Elizabeth Durham and the Seekers going.
