@@Spencer8242cause most max out at like 70-75 lbs? They’re for quick precise shot placement for burning. Crossbow, longbows, recurve, etc all can go well over 100lbs.

The amount of people that think the moose is real and that the shot missed is hysterical. You can see the fletching of the arrow after the shot lands.

If it's a known distance or you're able to range it and you have a pin for that distance, that shot is extremely doable.
I've got Buddy's that go out West to bow hunt, they practice out to 100 yd regularly.

Ive been bowhunting for over 30 years there is no damn way this is 125yds (375 feet) maybe 75 at best and if you hit that Moose at that yardage, you would never find him because the arrow would not penetrate deep enough to kill it.

You're a really strong person.
No wind easy with practice. I’ve shot archery for 50 years and used to practice 100 arrows a day with a 65lb recurve. I had good shoulders then. But in competitive matches with my recurve we shot life savors and springs at 45 yards. So practice, watch videos of the old guys like Fred Bear and Howard Hill.
That far away with aluminum arrows would only feel like a tick bite, best to use carbon with mechanical broadheads

Well that’s nice but don’t ever take 125 yard shot with a bow arrow. It will have no punch and you’ll just ruin the animal and it will suffer.
You clearly never shot at 100 yards or better. Consistently my arrows penetrated deeper at 115 than at 30. Past about 70 yards the arrow is no longer fighting gravity on the upward arch and is now being benefited by gravity on the downward slope of the arch. Try it don't take my word for it.

look at the decoy halfway between the back and breast, immediately behind the shoulder. just watch that spot the whole clip. arrows have to be shot like this at that range. that was a pretty well calculated shot. not a very clear video but the evidence is all there.
What scope are you using to shoot that far?
My question is....where do you get a 3D target that size. My buddy is setting up a course and can't find any that big.

I have a 175 lb compound Xbow and would never take a shot at a live animal at 110 yards. The chances of wounding the animal would be about 90%. Too many variables involved that would push the bolt/arrow off target at that distance.

people have dropped deer at 125 yards, most people tend to bow hunt 30 to 50 yards from what I know.
