Huh, I don't think I've heard this style before (that I can recall identifying as such at least) but I really like it. There's something pure about its relative simplicity. And as always, adding your sincere singing voice elevates it.

His playing and singing changed the way I looked at the banjo. The weird tunings, the ballads. It’s also very blues inspired! Definitely one of my favorites!
@@KenneyCmusic if you search up "dock boggs pretty polly (1966)" you'll find a video with that same title of Boggs himself. I also found a 1966 video (probably from the same day) of Country Blues (which even has a colorized version). 😁

Cool.. I've been starting to investigate some two finger style playing..
There's definitely a little bit of a learning curve, but some good practice (like clawhammer) it starts becoming really fun and intuitive! :)
