I happen to own a Bremont MBIII, that I purchased in 2014 which is similar to the MBI, that Jimmy gave his FIL, except it has a dual time zone. Each MB model is over-engineered in every aspect to withstand the rigors of military combat aviation, specifically punching out of the cockpit via a Martin Baker ejection seat. Hence, Bremont's tribute to Martin Baker and military aviators. This is truly a "Hell and Back" timepiece with timeless classic good looks. What makes the MBI unique, is that only pilots that have actually ejected from a Martin Baker (authentication required) are eligible to own one. The MBI is specially identified by its red barrel, and again, only reserved for those special few, that have "Been there, and done it".
What makes THIS occasion truly special, is that Jimmy knew his FIL served in that capacity with the US Marine Corps. After verifying from his wife that it was indeed an MB ejection system, he found it only befitting to honor such a man with a truly appropriate gift. A classy tribute to a Serviceman by a loving Son-in-law celebrity. And for that, I salute them both. Well done!

What a lovely tribute to Jimmy's father in law. Surely Jimmy doesn't need brownie points, who wouldn't be happy to have him in the family. It was a sincere and generous gesture of admiration for his father in law. Also notice the look of love on Nancy's face for both her dad and Jimmy---priceless.

Every father is going to be concerned at least initially with any man who's in a serious realtionship with their daughter, but if this gesture doesn't earn respect from a father in law, NOTHING will. If I was Fallon's father in law, I'd be of the opinion that Galactic brownie points just got earned by this gesture. That's a very personal, heartfelt and unique gift. Jimmy is a good man.
How could you not love Jimmy? He's such a sweet man, so generous, compassionate, and funny. And a clean comedian who my kids love as much as I do. Nicely done!

No, we use "beau fils" for son in law, but it's not "beau fils" in this case, it's "c'est le gendre idéal".

And the reason German sounds kind of "harsh" to others is because it's got a lot of "hard" consonants and such, but that doesn't mean it can't sound soft and beautiful either. There's a reason we're called "The poeple of thinkers and poets" (in German that's "Das Volk der Denker und Dichter", although people somehow do prefer to think of us as "the guys who had that thing with Hitler"). If you heard the works of Goethe, Schiller and the like read aloud there'd be no way you'd want to describe it as "harsh and mean". ;) Please, be a bit more open-minded. There's beauty in every language. :)

People have no idea what a blessing it is to love your son and daughter in laws. It really blesses their marriage and their lives and then the grandkids and so on. Its so important to support your kids. It is also super important to find someone that your parents CAN love and support! Be a blessing to your family!

You know, I like Jimmy Fallon a lot. I read in the comments section, and I see a lot of stuff, like how he's not the best at interviews and that he's not that funny and all.
Not only do I disagree, but that's not the point. I think people who are a fan, like me, of Jimmy, is because of his heart and because he looks genuinely like a very, very nice person.

Comedians are usually 2 types from what I've experienced. One type are just plane assholes and don't care about anyone's feeling. The second type are comedians because they want to make others happy and they do whatever it takes to get a smile out of u. Jimmy is the second type, what a great guy.
