I ended up taking the face off and the actual port is a plug and so I took it out and from the inside I saw the tip so I just pushed it out with a nail. It came right out and then I just plugged the aux port back in, put back the plastic cover and it works great!

I bought an expensive ass portable, waterproof speaker that is so amazing and my mangy aux cord broke off inside the port. Thank you so much. I am broke atm and would have had to go another month without a speaker for my zoom classes.

Mine has been stuck for 5 years! My aux is in a compartment between my two front seats so i cant see it pretty well. I'm hoping this is the issue
