Thank you so much for posting this video. I really appreciate this video. I am interested in learning about the Wago connectors: I have experience with these in low voltage applications and I like them far better than wire nuts. The clear areas around the levers of the connector help me confirm the wire connection and as you say, I can do a firm pull to check that the wire is well seated. Watching how you work with wires and the outlet helps me learn best practices in wiring. I feel trust in you and in the techniques you are teaching. I'm not a licensed electrician, but I do have an opportunity to work with some existing outlets in my house, and I want to do the work well and correctly.
Hello Daru , When using Wago connectors , before tucking the wires in the box , Wrap the connectors with electrical tape to keep the levers from snagging other wires or anything else in the box and coming up which loosens the connection , Or use a piece of heat shrink tubing , Either way keeps the levers tight and in place , Heat shrink tubing actually works better and is easier to use , You're a very nice and knowledgeable lady and I like to share my tips with you to help you out too Oh , One item I have in my electrical tool kit is a circuit breaker lockout along with a warning tag because lockout tag out is just as important at home as it is in the workplace , Available at your electrical supply , So nobody will turn the power on while you're working on it So be sure to get yourself a circuit breaker lockout along with the warning tag and a padlock , A great safety feature to have in your electrical tool kit
Can't wait to try these lever connectors and receptacles. But I still dislike stuffing all the wires into the wall box. Seems like I always struggle with this. Love your videos!
Hello Daru , I've been wanting Wago connectors and In my area , They're now available at The Home Depot which is great and I love the in line connectors because countless times I've ran into wires too short when replacing a receptacle or switch and especially the Wago in line connectors are great for making extensions for wires too short and take up alot less space in the box compared to wire nuts

Very informative! Where do I find the wago 221 inline splice connectors you showed in 3rd option?
They are really handy. I have a link in the description box that has all the information, Thanks
Check with The Home Depot , They may be available in your area , They're available in my area
My ceiling has a RED wire too, does it go in the WAGO with the black wire?
😊
God you're beautiful.
You are!
