- I haven't done an Ashes of Creation video in a while so here are my wild predictions for Ashes of Creation in the upcoming year of 2023. everything from the alpha 2 , toxicity and whos going to be the biggest streamer in the ashes space.

You should really consider streaming Persona 5. It's really fun to watch, almost like it's own anime.

I'm hoping for the tentative alpha2 date revealed during the December live stream and our first look at the Tulnar models. We will see the cleric this month.
Steven has already said alpha2 won't launch with everything, it will be rolled out in stages, which I think is a good thing. Hopefully what we do get they will ask for concentrated testing. Having everything at launch with Alpha2 would be a cluster f#@!.
I'm guessing they are saving naval content, the rest of the gathering, and the nodes for the early 2023 live streams to keep interest at a high. I'm thinking late March or early April 2023 for Alpha2, but who knows! Either way I'm sure they are going to blow us away because everything they have to show us is stuff we havent seen before. Let's gooooo for Alpha2!
They've already said the Betas won't last long. Maybe a week tops for both. I'm going to guess November 2024 for the official release.
Reasonable, but knowing how often unanticipated delays arise in development, my expectation would be December announcement of preliminary Alpha 1 spot tests by March, with no official announcement of Alpha 2 until the spot tests are over.
I would expect Alpha 2 for Summer of 2023, and it take place in three phases, Early, Mid, and Late, with features and geography added to each phase, with server wipes between each phase. Otherwise, how can you test if Intrepid's changes to the Node System really work?
I believe Intrepid would prefer Alpha 2 to last no more than 6 months, but I don't think reality will cooperate. Either Alpha 2 will be extended to closer to 9 months, or the two Betas will last longer than anticipated, or both.
I think Summer 2024 is plausible for actual launch.
I would love to be surprised by Alpha 2 in March 2023, though.
@@antondovydaitis2261 alpha 2 should be persistent leading up to beta from what Steven said. Because the alpha 2 servers will end up becoming the pts servers. I feel like alpha 2 would be april may, since I feel like they've already started spot testing 🤔 I'm also leaning towards late fall/winter full release in 2024
@@Tilley53 I agree that Steven has said that Alpha 2 should be persistent. The reason I suspect it might not be is first, the map might expand, especially for testing naval combat, and second, the Node System might require very significant updates, and persistence would not allow these changes to be tested properly.
That said, you could be much more right than I am.
@@antondovydaitis2261 mmmm when I say persistent I don't mean never going down for maintenance. I meant it just as in it'll continue on until the day the betas come out and then they become PTS servers
Good attitude towards testing. If I had the time, I'd try to break it.
