Just my opinion but that was a bad example. It would have been better had there been a camera on one of those bikes and seeing the speed ramp from that POV. In Final Cut Pro what I usually do is take a long clip and make two cuts. First clip is normal speed and next clip is sped up really high like 1000% or more if the clip is long enough and last clip back to normal. When I tried to do that in LF, the playback is choppy and not really smooth like I would want it.
Unfortunately, FCP doesn't exist on iPad. I'm talking about LF on ipad and your example could be adjusted based on your settings... depending on rate you filmed and only 2 cuts are not enough to make that smooth in special if you jump from normal speed straight to over 1000% then back to normal... to create a speed ramp, you'll need to increase or decrease speed in steps to get a smooth result. Appreciated you comment! Hopefully we'll see this future in LF soon...
Florin Enache I only mentioned FCP as that is what I used to do all my editing but now I am using LF more and more. I’m going to try it with some drone footage I shot and see if I can get it to look how I do it in FCP. Hopefully in the next LF update they will add a speed ramp feature.
Hopefully! I had a drone ordered and I just returned because of the regulations changing in uk... very sad. Wish you enjoy your one 😁 However, FCP should come on iPad soon, I don't know how true it is... that's what I heard.
Florin Enache what do you with your projects when you are done editing? Do you save them in the cloud whether it’s dropbox, google drive, I cloud etc., or do you export them to an external drive for archiving? This is of course after you upload to social media and all that? I read somewhere that cloud services compress the videos so I’m trying to figure out what everyone’s doing with their exported projects.
If it is an inportant video which I want to keep it, I'll save in external drive. If it is like a tutorial or even a holiday journey or something like that, I'll save on UA-cam on private...
Good work! I hope that at some point LumaFusion will include keyframes easing functionality.
I do hope that too🥰
