I got a 1949 john deere b, to this day, it starts and runs like it's brand new! I love that Ole tractor. I'll never sell it
That's when things were really built. No engineers, no computers, no high tech collage boys. The men that built these had a slide rule, an idea, two hands to build them. And there still going today.

Love these old classics, if I had the space I definitely would have a collection. We had a '69 4020 as our main workhorse back in the hay days and an 9n but that was it. Now I'm a long way from the fields. I miss it. Nice video, thanks for sharing

Great tractor. I have a 37 B that is hand start. It can sit all winter and will fire on the first flip of the flywheel.

Nice tractor. I have a 1950 B, which is my favorite of all my John Deere two cylinder tractors.

05:33 my 3.8 3800 in my Impala was like that.
I had a literally dead battery and like three spins that the starter barely did, it fired right up.
It amazed me. There are some really good modern engines out there

Things used to be make with quality and good cratsmanship. People invested themselves into what they did and made

We thought it was a 48 but I believe it may be slightly newer than that

    That's on your vehicles.
My 87 Ford Bronco can sit many months and fire right up.
12vs last just as long with something that doesn't drain them.
