Fantastic bike. Got mine 2 months ago. The seat height is about as low and approachable as you can get on a sports bike, and the seating position is SUPER comfortable while still looking sporty. Don't obsess with break in. As a newer rider, It's got enough punch that you can have a ton of fun without going over 6-8k rpm. A race from red to the speed limit while keeping the revs low is A TON OF FUN! You're gonna feel fast af. Just don't ride it to the max everywhere. If you go over 7K RPM a few times, it's fine! No problem. Vary the throttle, don't spend a ton of time on the freeway, and don't get too fixated with break-in. Yes, the engine needs to seat. Yes, you don't want to get too carried away with it. Just ride it like you're going to day to day, don't spend a ton of time in the high revs, and change that oil out at 600 miles. It's gonna be full of metal shavings.
@@cirrusgaming7078 well said🫡 funny you say that at the end mine actually didn’t have any shavings in it I even used a magnet and checked the oil still looked a bit fresh as well nice caramel color
@@Pstreetz Saw the comment before video got far in, and yeah, they recommend that oil change at 600, but I didn't get any shavings either. Ive hear alot of different things with break in, for my Ninja 650 I kept it inder 4k for the first 250 then after that I reved it out a few times getting to 8-9k, short bursts dont do anything. But from what Ive heard from Kawitechs its good to send it through the revs since that majorly helps forming the mating surfaces of the piston rings. And since these are parrellel twin motors and not some high strung inline 4 there are only benefits to riding it hard a couple of times during breakin.

Unfortunately, friend, we can't remove the service light. Page 69 in the manual says it can only be reset by a dealer. I have called multiple dealers, and all have said it will come up at 6000km or 1 yr and can only be reset by the kawasaki proprietary software. It can't be turned off either. However, it won't impact the bikes performance, but the light will stay on unless you service by an authorised dealer. Not just any dealer, either. Seems like kawasaki is taking the European bike maker route. They can't be turned off either.
In Australia it's 2year warranty when Kawasaki service and 1 year when you do it. I thrash my bikes and the peace of mind is worth it (1000km or 600miles then not again until 12,000kms so you do the math)

Euro 5 is only for emissions and has nothing to do with limiting horsepower. You are probably thinking of the tiered licensing they have to go through, an A2 license is restricted to 47bhp or ao
@@StreakSRM yes a2 is but also the euro 5 does have a higher limit then American emissions such as egr and o2s when adding theses addition it does in fact restrict the motor more along with the fact they arnt able to modify as easy due to rules and regulations
Lmao okay. Find me one article saying euro 5 is why it has less HP. You won't because that's not how it works. The bike is designed to the most restrictive emission standard (Euro 5+), and that bike is released everywhere. Horsepower is easily restricted with a different ECU map for Europe to hit a specific target (A2). A perfect example is the zx-4rr, why did the euro version make way more horsepower than the one we got? Because Canada and California had more strict regulations. Did they change the entire bike? No the North American version just got a more restrictive ECU map.
