I use CC to make the Point Clips as well as any songs/audio. And I use AM for the CC Shake and Clip timing

Short explanation:
Capcut: easier to edit, easier for new editors
Alight motion: more editing opportunities, hard to learn (you will get better), most famous editors/animators use this
The thing is that CapCut Can be used to make Longform videos aswell, a place where watermarks are disliked and Alight Motion Dtruggles

Heres the thing many people say capcut better cuz less laggy and easier and honestly i was thinking the same way before i learned how to use alight motion. Than i realized how good alight motion was compared to capcut not saying that capcut is bad but is a little bit to simple, now alight motion is WAY harder to use and if u dont have a good device it crashes but when u DO HAVE a device that can handle alight motion, you can make some GOD tier level edits IF u know how to use app.
As i said before cap cut is a nice app to edit and very easy to use as well! And if ur good at the app u can make dope edits! But when u are good at alight motion and it does not crash or does not lag that much, than it becomes a way better app in effects, shakes, text effects, text shakes, etc…
at the end of the day using both apps being a good editor in each one can make u create some edits that are just in ANOTHER level of editing.

As someone who sucks at editing,I feel that CapCut is nice to practice with and get the hang of while alight motion is for people who are more experienced.
