    This show reminds me of the smell of my mums hairspray, the hairdryer going and sitting in front of the fire in the 90’s while my mum and dad got ready to go out. I would watch this every weekend with the babysitter when my parents went out and I loved it

    • @Pobsta-de7hb

      Oh godddddddddddddddddddddddddddd, You took me on massive memory trips, my mums hair sprayyyyy, I had forgotten all about that, the place stank of it lol Her hair style as well lol and my dad putting his suit on to go out, watching tele, whinging about school on monday and my mum doing my home work at around 11pm on a sunday night after I finally revcealed I had some and no idea how to do it, my dad moaning about the marbles and other crap me and my brother left out all over the place, having to be dead quiet when eastenders was on, just millions of amazing things. Man I miss them days so much that it actually hurts but also makes me smile so hard to remember way back then, its very strange

      @rm_con Місяць тому +1

      @ me to bro I miss them so much. I remember watching heart beat on a Sunday night knowing that when it ends I had to go to bed because it was always an early night ready for school Monday. As soon as the heartbeat track came on I could feel my dads eyes on me which meant bed time 🤣🤣 kids today have no idea how great the 80’s and early 90’s were as a kid

      @@rm_con We can tell them and tell them and tell them until we are blue in the face and we cannot possible them any more, and still tell them more, yet they will never ever know just how amazing it was to grow up in the 80s and early 90s as a kid. Music, people in general, family, tv, movies, places, everything. Playing outside, I mean fk me there must have been 50 of us at times outside playing skate boards, football, curby, ready or not hide and seek and a million other things, now days I look outside and I can honestly say I do not remember the last time I saw a group of kids happily playing outside, it is crazyness. Even in the house, oh god we had it all. Rushing home from school to watch cartoons, watching things as a family. Video shops to go get tapes lol Man, from a little kid through to my teens in the 90s, everything was the best!! We do not say it because we were young and so of course it was better
      IT WAS ALL BETTER, no matter what age you were, we were just lucky we were young and grew up through it

    Brilliant, clever and hilarious manipulation of group dynamics and the human condition. Jeremy was the brains behind it all and as can be seen here - he steps in at the perfect moment. This stuff won't be seen again in our lifetimes at the very least and his show is much missed. I got his autograph towards the very end of his life as he was sat outside a cafe in Burton on Trent and he was a gentleman. Watch Out! he wrote.

      Yes Sir. I’m guessing we’re of similar age (50’s), there was more respect, we had a healthy fear of the police, teachers and other adults. I know every generation says ‘kids these days’ but seriously, kids these days are feral, mannerless gits. I’m generalising but hope you get my drift. We had our innocence and were quite happy watching Big Daddy batter Giant Haystacks followed by beans in toast and a slice of Batternberg. I’m glad I’ll be six feet under when the sh*t really hits the fan. Moan over. 😂

    JB = genius, Had me in stitches but with UK state of dire economy (getting worse with Interest rate and bill rises) had me crying as well. Prank by Jeremy Beadle (Superb Prankster).

    Great clip , i`ve noticed though that the reaction of the "target" in this and other "Beadles about" clips is more "in your face" and a lot more bleeps then the "Candid Camera" ones from the 1970s when the public were more innocent and on the whole maybe a bit more gentle and naive in a nice way , goodness knows if "Beadles About" was done now ( without JB of course but same format ) , it`s sad in a way.....great man Jeremy Beadle ( and all the Candid Camera presenters who have left us....

    Nevermind the fake bullshit you see on Social media, these were the original and best 'real' pranks from the late, great Jeremy Beadle, along with Candid Camera from America.

      I occasionally hear from friends and relatives of people who have been pranked who are happy that these funny reactions live on here for people to enjoy. Unfortunately it’s couldn’t be done in 2024 if Jeremy was still with us humour is becoming a thing of the past (at least where it comes to TV pranks and phone pranks on the radio).

      This is my grandad!☺️ Unfortunately he passed away in 2020 but we always talked about this and laughed about it! Very thankful to have this uploaded and something we can watch back as a family and laugh about!
