The council man with the clip board is the dating agency man from only fools and horses on the episode dates! When Delboy says he’s called Derek Douval 😂
This show reminds me of the smell of my mums hairspray, the hairdryer going and sitting in front of the fire in the 90’s while my mum and dad got ready to go out. I would watch this every weekend with the babysitter when my parents went out and I loved it
Oh godddddddddddddddddddddddddddd, You took me on massive memory trips, my mums hair sprayyyyy, I had forgotten all about that, the place stank of it lol Her hair style as well lol and my dad putting his suit on to go out, watching tele, whinging about school on monday and my mum doing my home work at around 11pm on a sunday night after I finally revcealed I had some and no idea how to do it, my dad moaning about the marbles and other crap me and my brother left out all over the place, having to be dead quiet when eastenders was on, just millions of amazing things. Brilliant, clever and hilarious manipulation of group dynamics and the human condition. Jeremy was the brains behind it all and as can be seen here - he steps in at the perfect moment. This stuff won't be seen again in our lifetimes at the very least and his show is much missed. I got his autograph towards the very end of his life as he was sat outside a cafe in Burton on Trent and he was a gentleman. Watch Out! he wrote.
