Using this stool in softer tilled soil might be an issue with sinking, I am going to purchase one knowing full well that I will probably need to make some wooden runners to help distribute the weight on the ground

Been looking at these for a birthday gift and noticed that- not so great tool pouch attachment - added a wicker hand basket for the tools- haven't had time to open the box yet so we will see if that makes things go more easily. Good luck with yours-ad the back !
I just got this but its a little different from yours.The directions wasn't clear on the pouch and how to use the strap that came with mine.I only got the gloves which I didn't understand how to use until you said it.lol Has a strong smell that needs to be aired out.I will test it out this week.
Hopefully it helps your knees like it does mine. The gloves LOL, I forgot I had them until I went and started to move dirt with my hands and the soil was tough. Went to get a small spade and saw the glove.
You are better off. Bought one from Amazon(Linder)but I have to put together. Thinking of returning because I'm afraid of messing up and falling and hurting myself. I'm a woman 80 years old.

I didn't even think of sinkage. I have almost all raised bed and my soil is glacier till. Thanks for the comment. Happy Gardening!

You could put a velcro strap behind pouch to make it sturdy
