- 3 years ago, I got to play football at the level I always dreamed of playing. It was nothing short of incredible, but at the end of that year, it was gone. My whole life I worked to get there and in a moment I was simply no longer allowed to play. I tried every route I could to play in the States, but every door shut on me. I almost gave up trying to play again, but many people in my life encouraged and supported me to keep going, so I did. I would come to find out that professional football is actually a real thing in Germany of all places, so I packed my bags and flew across the Atlantic. 8,500 kilometers to play a sport, but more importantly, so that I could one day say, "I didn't quit." I know it's not the NFL, I didn't get paid millions, and there's not 100,000 fans at each game, but I got to play football again. That's all that matters.
This video is dedicated to EVERY one of you who have supported me along the way. Without you, I would never have made it. THANK YOU.

Silas.... I never watched American Football before, I simply never understood it, because it is not very common in Germany as you know. Since I watch your Vlogs I am 100% interested in this sport. I think it's a great team sport, absolutely interesting and fascinating. Incredible shots in this Vlog from you as well, extraordinary work and it shows what is obviously important to you and many others. YOU ARE A FIGHTER who is inspiring. I feel sorry for you that it didn't work out in the NFL but one day your dream will come true. NEVER GIVE UP !!! Dear Silas,
though I as a German do not know the background of your ineligibility for college football or professional football in the US in general, I have a strong feeling that you are a real good player and that every professional team in the US should reconsider any decision to not hire you on sport professional causes. And as I'm following your vlog for more than half a year now, I can't see any reason why the person Silas Nacita should be a cause for an ineligibility.
You perfectly did the right thing, you didn't give up and you showed everybody you deserve a second chance in professional football in the US.
But if you can't overcome the obstacles in the US you can always come back to Germany and continue your German career.
Besides that, I wish you and your fiancee all the best, a beautiful wedding and a happy honeymoon.

I dont really like the "never give up" attitude. I think you should always pursue you dreams and do your best to achieve wantever u want to achieve. BUT u gotta realize when there aint no light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes its better to cut it rather than continuing empty dreams.
