I've noticed Daryl has a very distinctive 'punchy' style to his cuts. They are almost like a punch, short quick extension, cut then withdraw the hand along a very sharp arc. I do wonder if this is a quirk of having his kind of body shape and biomechanics.
I do Hema but I can still appreciate Olympic fencers for their amazing athleticism and footwork HEMA and sport fencing can benefit a lot from each other!
