Great review.I just picked the sline fully loaded version. It has the ambient lighting and cooled seats and heated front and rear seats.Looks like a private jet at night in the cockpit.Everything I wanted in a car for around $55000.Thats a good deal
People always gag on Audi for designing their cars to have the same look. Ahem, BMW anyone? Or how about Mercedes? I'd say Audi cars have changed more in look in the past 10 years than either of those other two.
+Cars Life that is fine for the 20% of people who male use of that great drive. the reality is though, the vast majority at the base a4/328i sort of level is completely irrelevant. looks, fit and finish, interior, refinement, cost, economy etc are all far greater factors at the mass end of the market. when your talking a M car then that it males more sense.
At first I didn't like this new design, but it's starting to grow on me...I really want to see the new A5-line, out of all of Audi's cars the new A5 is my most anticipated model.
Look guys I'm young and I can buy one of these or go for the facelift s3 yeah the s3 will be faster but, but what is appealing about this car that would make it worth buying ?
I have owned 3 Audi A4's, all with the 2L quattro engine and i have never had an oil issue. Previous 2 had no issues and the 3rd is only a week old so only time will tell how it goes on oil. From my understanding the oil issue is a thing of the past now anyway.
+rjs15570 you see, in this segment it just dosen't matter. There is no situation someone buying this car will get it to understeer. now the S4/RS4 versions to come, it will be a different story. ALL Awd cars understeer to a degree, its just physics
+Adrian Seconnino its a great overall package. The price can be high with options, but so is its german competition. The steering feel is still not quite at bmw level's and the styling is a bit bland. But it checks almost all the boxes. Great interior, suitable tech (the virtual cockpit is excellent), great engines (although not groundbreaking), good space. Its just a great all round car for getting A to B with a small family.
I loved the consistency of the non-changing exterior body style of the A4 from 2016-2019. It's evolved, Intelligent, intuitive, modern and sexy. I'm not impressed with the body style of the A4 2020. If the physiology of the interior mechanics have evolved, all the better for this "Ship Of The Gods". I'm an Audi Girl🐞🦋🐞😘
I own B9 Audi A4 and the dust seal scratches the window tints. The dealership I bought the car from Audi Brisbane said it’s a common Audi issue and refuses to fix it. Which is true, as my friends who own Audi also have the same problem. Audi Australia denies any responsibility and just completely ignored me. If I had known this, I would have definitely chosen BMW or Merc over Audi. So if you’re considering where to spend your hard earned money. As an Audi owner I would suggest you to choose any other brand than Audi!
The competition should be seriously worried about Model 3, not A4.Electrify your cars or lose substantial market share. Very very tough time ahead for the traditional car manufactures.
Electric cars are still a niche market. All the major car manufacturers have something up their sleeve and will decide when the time is right for them.
This isn't a review. The presenter is just regurgitating Audi's press release. There was nothing critical in this "review" and this isn't a perfect car.
+kelioos perfect? no, no car is. But it is a extremely well rounded package. The interior's are class leading, the engines excellent, the ride great. The only area's the audi isn't at the very front of the class is steering feel, which for most won't matter too much and styling flair (although some prefer the understated look). Personally I like fast cars (currently Have a RS3) and so this segment doesn't appeal to me, but if you just want to get around in style and comfort and not spend a ridiculous amount then its a excellent option.
+Mulkyan you can also post this under a Porch video. Porch shares more similarities to VW than Audi does from a design and manufacturing platform sharing point of views
To say that it has the benchmark interior is, to me, a bit far fetched don't you think? It definitely beats the BMW, Volvo, vw and jaguar but I don't think it's better than the c class. Just my opinion though. The rest of the car looks superb.
+RKOAmbroseHDTM c class is good but id still call the audi better (virtual cockpit alone does it really), allthough as you say not "way" ahead. bmw is now well behind though.
Great review.I just picked the sline fully loaded version. It has the ambient lighting and cooled seats and heated front and rear seats.Looks like a private jet at night in the cockpit.Everything I wanted in a car for around $55000.Thats a good deal
hi Coach, you still have the car? any critical issue with it after 6 years?
please anything wrong with it?
Also wondering how you made out with the car
The turn indicator lights are very cool!
the road in the last scene is breathtaking
People always gag on Audi for designing their cars to have the same look. Ahem, BMW anyone? Or how about Mercedes? I'd say Audi cars have changed more in look in the past 10 years than either of those other two.
agree
+PCMasterRace doubly so for their interior's. I mean look at a current bmw 3 series on the inside! Compared to this? The Audi looks 10 years newer!
+Cars Life Good choice!
+PCMasterRace agree most beamers and Mercedes look alike and all Lamborghini looks alike too all brands do that
your reviews are always great. calm. informative and just too great. Thank you
i just picked this up for a used car and it’s stunning we love this we always using it just picking me up from school and shopping i love this!!
How much mileage did you hit? Also is it reliable?
Can't wait to buy this car - it's gonna be a huge leap from my current Skoda Octavia 2 facelifted.
the new a4 looks fantastic this car really is good at handling I wish I could afford one:(
Same broski
At first I didn't like this new design, but it's starting to grow on me...I really want to see the new A5-line, out of all of Audi's cars the new A5 is my most anticipated model.
Yeah me too! I'm curious when it will be released.
Does anyone know are these still burning oil? like some earlier models 2010 to 2012 or 13 I'm not sure.
Can't wait to when this car comes to America so I can see some A4s and A3s side by side. I can't believe nobody done this yet.
The streets look so clean and nice. The car is nice too😄
great review enthusiasm comes across clearly. I have the 1.4 se version and it's beautiful
You know it's not that bad to be honest. 150 bhp it can still shift
Nice Omega Seamster :)
brilliant review!! :) audi a4 looking good~
My mum has one of these...it's so good that for the first time in my life when my dad considers getting her a new car -- I tell him, DON'T
After 6 years, was there any issue with it?
Are they still burning oil like they use to in 2012?
Someone please?
Awesome review.
Paul Meric is probably the only descent reviewer for car advice
CarAdvice.com my bad on the spelling
What was the mpg on 2L petrol?
nice car.. Which city is this? The roads look fantastic.
most likely Sydney
+rajTrondhjem10 - Canberra ACT (Australia)
+rajTrondhjem10 - The car looks great. :)
+CarAdvice.com.au filmed in Canberra, on the great ocean road.
Audi had the best interior.
Looks really nice I think I am going to buy one thanks car advice go Aussie
Wonder if it comes complete with any new cheat software for nox gasses.
How much is the cockpit option and the technik package or they are fitted on the 2.0 Quattro ?
$1900 AUD for the technik package which has the virtual cockpit and heads-up display.
Look guys I'm young and I can buy one of these or go for the facelift s3 yeah the s3 will be faster but, but what is appealing about this car that would make it worth buying ?
was wondering if this car is reliable mechanically engine wise
I've owned mine since it came out and ive never seen a check engine light.
good review and I agree with 99 percent what you said. Keep going
What about engine oil? how much does it drink every 1,000 kms?
I have owned 3 Audi A4's, all with the 2L quattro engine and i have never had an oil issue. Previous 2 had no issues and the 3rd is only a week old so only time will tell how it goes on oil. From my understanding the oil issue is a thing of the past now anyway.
good review but didn't discuss if they resolve the understeer which was evident in the B8.
also, is a sport differential offered?
Unfortunately it still understeers, a lot...
+rjs15570 you see, in this segment it just dosen't matter. There is no situation someone buying this car will get it to understeer. now the S4/RS4 versions to come, it will be a different story. ALL Awd cars understeer to a degree, its just physics
activated charcoal filters were fitted in older mercs, not so new
The exterior looks boring, but the interior, weight saving and technology is a big thumbs up.
Can anyone see the front camera
No negatives then?
its an audi

Does it have air suspension?
+akshay rahate No, it will have magnetic adaptive dampers

Thank you for my your help
Is it a review or advertisement? Too sweet...
Thanks for your feedback.
did he say the DSG was "New AND Improved" ? - can't be can it, it's one or the other

My 2016 interior looks WAAAAAAAAAY different. This is probably the B9. Looks much nicer.
It is, you would have the B8.5

Yep, just like Nokia and Blackberry waited until market is mature and occupied by another companies.
Aussie Aussie Aussie!!!
Does 65 kilos = 100 pounds?
65kg is 143lb (roughly 2.2lb to kg)
I thought it is considered as 2017 A4 model
+appleseedmvp not in australia, car models are called as the model year they are sold in
where was this filmed?
Prolly somewhere in Zetland where the Audi centre city is
+Australia - Canberra
The bridge is down on south coast near helensberg

agreed

+kelioos know what you are talking about before talking, the car is above upper segment cars, thats the truth
This is a nice volkswagen, can I get a diesel in this?
+Mulkyan if you wait, maybe you can buy an stupidly overpriced volkswagen diesel in a bentley skin, who knows?
+Mulkyan you can also post this under a Porch video. Porch shares more similarities to VW than Audi does from a design and manufacturing platform sharing point of views
what the fuck is a porch? you are watching the wrong videos, you need to watch gardening videos...
+Arven Tahtyan Nice try, I guess the owners of Bugatti,Bentley, Lamborghini & Porsche cars are really just driving a VW Polo.
Who invited the salesman?
now am sad mine is 2014 :(
+Ahmed Ayaz - looks the same though ;)
ya but the interior its huge difference
Trade it in for a new one😊
+Ahmed Ayaz that's the thing with luxury cars, you have to have the latest one
you/re right, when my warranty expired.
i will do stage1 or stage2 :D
Nothing negative? You got paid to do this one!
Great video, just introduce the car without horrible acting.
Thought it was Gordon ramsay

+Cv02 There's a lot of plastic in that interior, I agree.
+Adam Maciejewski wait, agree with who
You.
+Dan The Doge ???? bit he said that only c class has a better interior
+A-R4SCH but*
It's under the Audi sign
this is not a 2016...
It is
To say the interior is way head of its competitors is a joke, the BMW yes, the Mercedes no
+RKOAmbroseHDTM c class is good but id still call the audi better (virtual cockpit alone does it really), allthough as you say not "way" ahead. bmw is now well behind though.
You'll be luck to get 100k out of it before it breaks.
Informative but the presenter can't seem to control his hands and it's damn annoying.
NOT REALLY
I'd think i'd rather sit in the lexus
this actually looks pretty cheap inside...
Boring but brilliant 💤
This is not a 2016 Audi A4. Who is paying this guy? Wrong information. I have a 2016.
This is a 2016! I have one
Bullshit!
Looks ugly from the back. Toyota 86 is way more attractive and way cheaper
Another boring German car for old men.
