Very pretty. Your light shines thru on this one. 🎶
That's a lovely thing to say - thank you so much 🙏
@@MelBiggsMusic I don’t comment on all your pieces, but I listen to all of them. I enjoy your work, and learn from your videos. I’m also a melodeon player. One of the few in Indiana.
@@paulmitchell3877 nice to meet you here! I'm so happy my channel is helping you on your Melodeon Journey 🥰 what styles do you play?
@@MelBiggsMusic well, let’s see. Last week I played at The Red Bud Rendezvous. I played all historical music. Many Turlough O’Carolan, I really like playing those runs, some O’Neil, the Good Ship Planet. At the Wild Rose Moon, I play music by my favorite composer, Florence Pinvidic, the Sleeping Tune by Gordon Duncan, Ukuaru Valss by Arvo Part, Calum’s Road , by Donald Shaw,Shirley Remeniscent by David Hansen, La Complainte Du Folkloriste by Phillips Bruneau etc.
This week at the Moon I have been requested to play polka music by one of the patrons there. Matt Scutchfield will lend his guitar expertise for accompanyment. I play a diverse variety. Mazurkas, waltzes, Polska also. I am self taught on melodeon, but I have a theory teacher who helps tremendously who plays violin in the South Bend Symphony. Oh, I am retired now and devoting my time to the melodeon. I play a DC Castagnari Haley.
