In Ireland, rental prices are so high for two reasons: the country receives many exchange students annually, especially from Brazil and Latin America, and it has very strict laws and rules for construction that make it very difficult to build new homes. In fact, at the moment in the United Kingdom, or more specifically in England, renting is much, much cheaper than many European cities. London, of course, being the largest metropolis, has astronomical prices, but small and medium-sized cities still have very balanced prices

Can you make a video about incentives for foreign students in Ireland? Like what are the advantages or freebies you get as a foreign student in Ireland?
@@fabianacreati3233 after you apply, they could take a month or 2 to get back to you informing you if you have been selected or not and after that, they ask you to send over some documents to them. Once they have confirmed the authenticity of those documents, they will give you a move in date and you can get your keys a day before that

Hi, I don’t think so because you will need to prove that you get paid for 40hours a week and student can only work for 20hrs a week for the most part. This was a problem I didn’t realise while applying as a student
However, if you get someone else who’s a full timer to apply on your behalf and you get the house, you’ll just move in and when you finally get a full time job, you can try to apply for tenancy switch with your own documents 😉

I personally feel like housing is cheaper in the EU (except the Scandinavian countries ooo😂) when compared to the UK.
Ireland isn't in the UK o so me I don't understand why it is this expensive. Housing is cheaper in other European countries.
