While I do sympathise with her situation, I saw an apple watch, a fairly new iPhone, professionally applied acrylic nails, professionally maintained eyebrows, dyed hair, lots of tattoos and pets...none of which are essential spending (not to mention she was expecting a delivery when she got the baliff letter). While forgoing these may not give her all the money she needs the fact she is spending on them while on the brink of homelessness suggests to me she's not exactly being careful with the money she does have, at least based on what this clip shows.
I was thinking the same but on the other hand, she may have acquired 90% of those items while she was working and the documentary more than likely provides hair and makeup.
Everyone is 2 paychecks away from being like this. 2. She could of had those things 2 years ago for all you know. The cheapest hair dye is like £2-4 for red. You need a phone these days. You can't go and buy one of those cheap old phones with no app capabilities on them. My sister needs a phone to do anything with her children's schools. The drs have an app ffs. I can't go and make a drs appointment without my phone.
This is not a good example. She is basically saying she can’t afford to live because she can’t work. Yet she chose to have 2 children, 1 very recently aswell. Maybe access your situation first before bringing kids into it. Additionally she has a dog, not only does it seem like she can’t afford to have yet another expense.. so should she have a dog? She is being picky with where she is being offered. No flat/got to be pet friendly. As a single mum myself, who would never put myself & my kids in such a reckless situation. I don’t sympathise with her, but fully feel sorry for her children.
That's what I was thinking. Whether it's one dad or two, where is the man who she had this one month old baby by? Why can't he help her keep a roof over his newborn child's head?
Are people really not understanding how it's possible to not afford to live? Let's break down some costs:rent £1100, council tax £150, Energy Bills:£200, food £300, mobile phone £15 - grant total £1615. This is a conservative estimate so you need a salary of £27k. The UK average salary is £30k, meaning half the population earn below that.
This is not right...rent of 1,100...thats expensive even in London. Rent is about 500 fpr a decent place if you love woth people. Expenses should be under £1000 if you're sensible. Im a single person, and I pay about that.
@Madonnalitta1 I've had a two bedroom flat in Derby at a single person, and it was £550. It was nice as well...newly refurbished. Where are you lot living?..London?.how about shop around or move cities or towns. It's not like these single mothers have jobs to go to. Rather than living in a big city...maybe simple is the way 🤷
I'm sorry, but it's hard to work 60 hours a week and make the decision to put off having a dog (which I would so dearly love to do) and having kids because all I can afford is a 1 bedroom, just to see other people get it all handed to them with my tax money. For her to think she's entitled to nothing less than a pet friendly 2 bedroom in the location of her choice while I literally have a graduate degree and work 60 hours a week and can't afford such luxuries is asinine.
The fact that there is already an excessive amount of demand awaiting its absorption, despite how everyone is frightened and calling the crash, is another reason why it is less likely to occur that way. 2008 saw no one, at least not the broad public, making this forecast, as I'll explain below. The ownership rate was noted to have peaked in 2004 in the other comment. Having previously peaked in the second quarter of 2020, we are currently at the median level. Between 2008 and 2012, it dropped by 3%, and by the second quarter of 2020, it had dropped from 68 to 65.
Investing in both real estate and stocks can be prudent choices, particularly when backed by a robust trading strategy that can navigate you through prosperous periods.
You're not doing anything wrong; the problem is that you don't have the knowledge needed to succeed in a challenging market. Only highly qualified professionals who had to experience the 2008 financial crisis could hope to earn a high salary in these challenging conditions.

Thanks for clearing that up, I curiously searched for Vivian Carol Gioia on the internet and thankfully, I came across her my goal is to retire in 5years time.
She was the wrong person to do this story with because she comes across as very entitled. She was lucky to get offered a one-bedroom temporary accommodation and not a hostel. She was also lucky to be offered a property so quickly which doesn’t normally happen and then she turned it down to sofa surf with her two children, one a newborn 🤦🏾♀️complaining about the sofa bed just clean it. I’ve been through the homeless system it’s hell and you’re just so grateful for what you get.
She was purposefully brought to our attention to deflect from the main issue that is building more houses for people to afford. But too many companies, government officials interest are involved so we can not ever dream of having affordable housing. UA-cam videos adverts constantly showing about making money by property businesses. More people gets interested in one asset class that becomes more expensive. British Isles are only for rich Monarchs, Lords, MPs and Capitalists. We peasents are just numbers.
Isn't it her fault she's had kids too ? When she's not in the right position for that if struggling financially. Saying that UK is a backwards economy society where it's geared towards the rich.
I don’t agree I don’t think she’s spoilt at all I feel incredibly sorry for her people don’t seem to understand what life is like with a new born this is a nightmare !
There are key lessons to take away from this: 1) Choose your partner using reasonable criteria before having one or more babies, not because of butterflies. Get commitment first and treat and respect your partner. There is a reason why families made up of older and wiser individuals used to be active in the selection process of an appropriate husband as well as guaranteeing that the bride was raised properly and well-behaved. Some might not like this type of guidance but the alternative is broken homes and broken single moms and therefore broken children too. 2) Don't "follow your passion" with a personal trainer job, if you're the sole provider for your kids you need to go for something that's well-paid and stable, your feelings come second at that point. 3) If you're on your own, always keep enough cash in hand before getting comfortable with personal spending and if you can't use a credit card and pay it off every month to at least have access to credit if needed 4) If you get a council house that fast and at everyone else's expense, be grateful, like VERY grateful. The fact that she was picky about the couch or the location of the accommodation is already a red flag that she struggles with entitlement, which likely affected her relationships too. 5) Nothing will change until it becomes less socially acceptable to willingly make so many bad choices which also harm the kids. Shame is a good thing, we need more of that. Because social stigma it is a deterrent for bad behavior, as opposed to giving sympathy, and attention, and subsidizing the behavior to shelter the person from the consequences of their actions.
The homelessness among the working is on the rise as well, which means even in working families they can't even afford to rent out a property. That's an issue with the housing market and the fact that the Rich Tycoons and Government Officials who invest their wealth into the property market make a fortune while raising housing prices whenever they feel like it with no real care about people who just want a house to live in. This government has been failing us for many years now and it's really time people voted out the Tories and Labour so we can maybe have a fresh perspective rather than ones that only care about themselves.

@@nunnunnunyabizzie2345 What's your point? Sure, it's all guess work in regards to when or for what money she obtained that stuff. Fact is, she makes one horrible decision after another, from the designer goods and services she chooses to enjoy (while deciding not to save up in spite of having kids), to the man she allowed to empty himself inside her (obviously he is not around). She is absolutely not a responsible person.
There's a lot to ponder here. How did she end up with two children and no partner? After the first, how did she get pregnant again? Then there is the idealistic thinking (I need at least two bedrooms) as though she is owed not simply accommodation, but ideal accommodation. And finally, when she was offered as place, she turned it down and moved to a different county. Then we have the underlying issues of expectation. Back in the 1950's and 1960's, it was common to live in social housing. You rented from the Council and were good to go. There was lots of stock, and you could pick and choose. In 2023, people still think this is the case. It's not. Thatcher's Right to Buy decimated social housing. In short, there are not enough properties out there. If you're going to the Council, you can't expect much these days, and don't expect to be able to pick and choose. As for private renting, it's a disgrace and is poorly regulated. From no-fault evictions to a complete lack of rent controls and onward to often poor maintenance, private renting is actually the worst kind for tenants. We need new laws put in place. A complicated set of circumstances set off, largely, by the lady here having not one, but two children without a family foundation. She no doubt loves her kids, but she's clearly not able to take care of them, she really needed to think about the consequences before she arrived here. On the other hand, the system is not in her favor.

@Phynne85 Yes that's true, but we have different tax systems. In Germany landlords pay lower taxes. In UK if we had these laws and the high taxes there would be no landlords.
@elizabethhalasz361 Yes, in Germany you can basically steal properties. Eviction thieves can take years. Phynne conveniently forgets to mention this results in much high rents for Germans (to cover costs of theft through rent arrears) and people who are so deep in debt from stealing properties that they can never live a normal life again. Sure you can easily steal something like € 50K living in various stolen housing in Germany, but that debt doesn't go away. It can't be collected as long as you're scrounging benefits and protected by minimum wealth laws that protect from seizure BUT if you ever decided to start living, you get a job and you try to become financially stable it does become collectable. So the soft German system can create people forever condemned to be on benefits because their debts make it so that there's no point to working. No to mention the damages to smaller scale landlords who can be made bankrupt and lose their life savings to a single stealing tenant. Early and quick evictions are more humanitarian in the long run.
Stop bullshitting people, you moron. In Germany you get kicked out if you fail to pay two months of rent. If you are very lucky, you can try to negotiate with your landlord, but legally they have a right to evict you.

@user-hv5so6qz9z if you don’t want to look stupid, don’t be ignorant and do a research first. Maternity leave pays 90% of the salary for the first 6 weeks. For the rest of 33 weeks you only get pathetic £172 a week. I’d like to see how you would survive with this amount.
I dont feel sorey for her at all. She is entitled beyond all i have ever seen. She can do her hair and nails and makeup but cant pay her rent. Her priorities are messed up.
Pleasntly surprised people arnt jumping on top of the landlord for this. The eviction process is a lengthy process to get someone out. He is at least 4 months rent out of pocket plus expensive baliff fees. This young girl needs to sort herself out and think of her kids. Looks like she can still afford to get to the salon for nails, lips, hair etc. Also shes able to run a nice wee car on the road. She needs to get her priorities.
@@josephyates9936 You mean the guy who took the tusk and bought the property with his own finances? Should he let people live their for free while he pays for the property tax and upkeep?
Idiot. It's a no fault eviction. That means that the lady didn't do anything wrong, the landlord put the rent up, and she had to move out as she'd no longer be able to afford it. Has the house expanded? No, the landlord just wants more money because house prices are increasing. Leeches.
I laughed at - a system that needs to be fair for everybody. No consideration at all for the taxpayers that have to pay for your poor choices now. Didn't even seem to cross her mind that someone else has to pay the bill for your lifestlyr. What an entitled brat. I feel so sorry for the kids they didn't ask to be brough into a world with this dingbat for a mum. Poor buggars probably won't have much a chance.
Where is her father? She probably didn’t have him in the home. If she did maybe she wouldn’t have gotten pregnant but it seems like a psycho seems like she was from a single mother and now she became a single mother and that’s the cycle. Shame has morals anymore Lord have mercy on us.

@@Phynne85 but then why on earth she has 2 kids potentially by 2 different dads? She chose this. It's hard for her. But nowadays it's a game of dancing chairs who gets evicted and who actually affords a home. I tell you, it's not going to be the single mums owning a house.
I am an immigrant and came to UK legally following a visa process. I work in IT. It takes 3 years after coming to UK, working hard, saving money to buy a property. Seen this happen many times. One of my mates came from Portugal and bought house in 3.5 years. If you can’t do this you are simply living beyond your means. Extreme Left media wants you to believe buying a house is impossible to keep you poor. Also are you suggesting homeowners don’t have to deal with issues like mould and poor plumbing? Can mould only occur in rental properties?
In order to keep up with that haircolor, one must make a visit to the salon every 4-5 weeks. This is not a cheap appointment since they have to lift her natural color and then apply color to give her that red-head look. Prices can range anywhere from $150-$250 here in CA. And she gets her nails done, so that's another $25-$35 every two weeks. AND she has an apple watch. That thing alone costs over $300.00, no? I don't have children or pets, but even for me I consider that gadget like this is way too expensive for me. I feel bad for her, but it seems like she could have gone without salon visits and expensive accessories, considering the crisis she is in. I just don't get it.
All started in the late 60s 70s where single parents went to the top of the housing list. It's been down hill ever since the kids then realised that they too could vampire the tax payer. After the fourth generation we now have estates full of unemployable entitled parasite's that the police can't control and social services empower them 🤦
It's difficult to have some empathy. We are all in the same boat, I don't have pets (I wish), or children becuase half of my wages goes in living in Multiple Accomodation. She has her own place!!! and all that complaining
True and where's the kids dad. There's no accountability in this video at all. She effed around pooped out 2 kids most likely from 2 different guys and now she wants sympathy for her wrong decisions, well we do live in a 🤡 world, so nothing surprises me anymore
Its the same everywhere. My daughter in law went into pre term labor after the owner of the house they were renting gave them notice to leave as they were selling. ( during covid) rents are cruel even to the average family. People are losing the will to live.
Im confused... she is given a place to live and shes complaining that its only one bedroom and she has to share with her kids... she has an awful lot of demands for someone who isnt providing for herself
Very simply put…..if the woman wants the child and the man doesn’t, he has no say in the matter. If the woman doesn’t want the child and the man does, he has no say in the matter.
The obvious question is - where the hell are the baby daddies? It's idiotic to have a child with some loser and then complain that you never have any money etc. The choices made by these types of people is mind bogglingly insane. Modern British society is about having your kids first with random strangers and then looks to trap some poor bloke into becoming a 'father' to kids that don't mean anything to him. Gruesome behaviour.
The male species are not getting trapped. Real men don’t ejaculate into a woman without a condom! That alone would cut single motherhood by 98%. Males abandon their children, as evident by Rube Franke’s husband for example.
The video cracks me up! The message they try to push. Absolutely avoid the elephant in the room. Society is broken, and the cycle repeats. Does anyone realise there is never any father in these small documentary. Why should these woman be accountable when they have multiple of safety nets. What part has she played in this situation and leading up to this situation????
Why didn't her dad take her in? Where is the father of her kids? Many questions to be answered before she gets an ounce of sympathy from me. Do you think she knows how easy life would have been without the kids she now has to raise without a dad. The problem is the government giving even ONE iota of support to these people.
Whoever spends so much on superficial things like dyeing her hair orange, makeup, tattoos, etc., while complaining about not being able to provide the very basics for your baby is a disgrace. I'm not saying times aren't hard; I know they are. But surely the orange hair can go. Being a parent is about sacrifice and responsibilities. And where the is the baby's father?
She most likely has 'care free' put herself in this situation through years of assuming the property somehow belonged to her. It doesn't. And the landlord has every right to do whatever they like with their property (they might have their own financial struggles, recent passing of family members, etc.) We all have a sad story to tell that would sound great with sad music playing in the background. People are very rarely just victims of sheer bad luck. There is always an element of personal responsibility and decision making.
It's tough however UK at least has a syst of supporting the vulnerable with emergency housing in the US there is no safety net kids live in cars with their families or In motels until they can get back on their feet
It's a trap though, sadly. They offer 'free housing' but it's usually riddled with damp, really low quality dumps that slumlords rent to the council. What she got was actually super nice, and only because the baby was so young. Once that kid is 2 or 3, she'll end up in a really nasty house that's a health hazard. Kids actually die here from mold exposure, it's that bad. The trap part is that once you're in the system, you can't work your way out. So she'd have to work full time but she'd lose all of her benefits, and in the end she'd make only a tiny amount more working full time than not working at all. This forces them to stay impoverished forever, living on scraps of welfare in moldy houses. At least in America, where it's 'sink or swim', a lot of people actually somehow swim. They have no choice. In the UK, it's "sink or barely float with your head above the water for the rest of your life". They'll throw you a lifesaver, but you'll never get out of the sea. The taxation system punishes you so harshly for working, and with kids it pays "more" to let the government impoverish you than it does to work your way up. She'll never own anything now that she's trapped with kids. Even people with no kids struggle to get out of the system, let alone having 2.
Definitely. My US city works hard to put families into private rooms in shelters as soon as possible, but it's nowhere near as nice as this apartment that she's complaining about, it's typically a single room with just bunk beds. God help you if you have no kids, the waitlist for a private place is years long.
@@janejan9728 So how did the UK get into such a mess of unaffordable housing for the masses? Your rotten leaders did this to you. privately rented doesn't work for everybody ; you are best with a council house or a council association . But the waiting list is long and now they have brought out this bidding system which to me is well wrong ; so the private sector seems the best option ; but then the landlord doesn't really do the repairs like they're supposed to do ; so you are goost ,yet again where has in a council owned place if you need a repair it automatically gets done it my take a month but at least it gets done .🇬🇧
Real hard to feel bad since the eviction process can push over a year while f’ing over the landlord which in so many cases is just a regular person and not a giant business. You need your dog? Over a home for your kids …. FFS But she has her hair and nails done with a new iPhone so …
wonder who the father of the kids is and if she gets child support? guessing the dad has no involvement if she's moving all the way back to wales with her kids!

She's got a free home from the council, meaning she doesn't have to pay ridiculous rent to some wealthy landlord. I'm failing to see the negative about this outcome?!
In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government.

Totally agree, she is the kind of person who if she won $100,000, it would be gone in a month.
Agreed then blames the landlord for not housing her for free. If it was me it'd be food, baby/dog essentials and doing any at home work I can extra.
I was thinking the same but on the other hand, she may have acquired 90% of those items while she was working and the documentary more than likely provides hair and makeup.

This is not a good example. She is basically saying she can’t afford to live because she can’t work. Yet she chose to have 2 children, 1 very recently aswell. There are key lessons to take away from this:
1) Choose your partner using reasonable criteria before having one or more babies, not because of butterflies.
3) If you're on your own, always keep enough cash in hand before getting comfortable with personal spending and if you can't use a credit card and pay it off every month to at least have access to credit if needed
4) If you get a council house that fast and at everyone else's expense, be grateful, like VERY grateful.
I agree with most of what you say, except for following your passion. that is important.

In Germany throwing out a lone mum of at least one kid is not thinkable. We have very strong rights for renters, no chance for „landlords“.
Same here in Norway, although I from England (a very rough bit) so none of this surprises me.
@Phynne85 Yes that's true, but we have different tax systems. In Germany landlords pay lower taxes. In UK if we had these laws and the high taxes there would be no landlords.
@elizabethhalasz361
Yes, in Germany you can basically steal properties.
Like Ireland and soon Scotland. England maybe will follow suit.
Stop bullshitting people, you moron. In Germany you get kicked out if you fail to pay two months of rent. If you are very lucky, you can try to negotiate with your landlord, but legally they have a right to evict you.

@@al2954why is it the blokes fault? Takes two to tango? Maybe women should stop allowing deadbeats to fertilize them! 🤷🏻♀️🙄🤦🏻♀️
Ask her. She picked them. Also she's a strong independent woman (feminist).
@@Cbd_7ohm maybe the man offered marriage and then left as soon as he saw sommat bettr or maye he died of an illness. You don't know so shush lad
Grow up No sympathy at all working 80 hours sometimes no help where is the father
Her crying after she was given an apartment for free because the couch was a little bit dirty?!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬 what an entitled brat!
Maybe just stop JAQing off? You're embarrassing yourself.
I was wondering why/if the father wasn’t paying child support, if not, shouldn’t that be a priority before people are being evicted
Why didn't her dad take her in? Where is the father of her kids? Many questions to be answered before she gets an ounce of sympathy from me. Do you think she knows how easy life would have been without the kids she now has to raise without a dad. The problem is the government giving even ONE iota of support to these people.
These idiots bring misery into this world while they know they are in poverty
The western world it's made for women, they're always cuddled from their bad decisions.
She seems really entilted at least shes getting housed most people have to wait years
Your baby had nowhere to go and you still had money to get your nails done😂😂
My experience shows that you won`t find anything when you have a pet. That`s why I don`t even have a hamster. No chance. Sad but true.
Exactly image losing your home for a dog? A pet? Why? You got two humans to feed.
she’s poor and complaining 🤦🏾♀️ some people are just ungrateful
Complaining never makes anything better.
Where are the childrens fathers?
what is wrong with a one bed flat? and 30 mins commute from his school?what is wrong with 30 mins ? 30 mins is near!
surprised the comments aren't harsh on Zelensky begging countries like UK for money and free fughter jets
Single mom. Tatted up. Nose Piercings. That explains a lot.
exactly
where is the father?
a load of utter BS
I look into the past and see a string of poor decisions.
It doesn't.
And the landlord has every right to do whatever they like with their property (they might have their own financial struggles, recent passing of family members, etc.)
We all have a sad story to tell that would sound great with sad music playing in the background.
They allowed every thieving Russian oligarc to buy their way into the country with the money they stole from the people of Russia which caused house price inflation. They allowed every illegal immigrant into the country and gave them free housing at taxpayer expense, causing a shortage of housing for native Brits. Thank your leaders for messing up your country!!!!!!!
Where is the children dad? The system still makes so much single parent and children absent of parents at 2023.. ? while the royal family always had people or whole family photos around...this is to do with family values and class differences in 21 century still in uk..that real sad....think about people in war zone and they lose parents now ... What is family and social values after the pandemic compare with grand parents goes through ww1 and WW2 still strong together if they still alive...and all these surrogate babies business in rich people as well... really thinking of what is family at this century in the west..
It is not hardship, I have experienced years of poverty, no meat for months and shoes with holes.
Now having all this I will newer buy dog (in her case it is a horse), make expensive tattoos or buy new iPhone/iPhone IF cannot afford
privately rented doesn't work for everybody ;
you are best with a council house or a council association . But the waiting list is long
and now
they have brought out this bidding system which to me
is well wrong ;
so the private sector seems the best option ;
but then the landlord doesn't really do the repairs like they're supposed to do ;
so you are goost ,yet again where has in a council owned place if you need a repair
it automatically gets done
it my take a month
but at least it gets done .🇬🇧
People would cut off there own hands to get the flat she was offered initialy !
Real hard to feel bad since the eviction process can push over a year while f’ing over the landlord which in so many cases is just a regular person and not a giant business.
You need your dog? Over a home for your kids …. FFS
But she has her hair and nails done with a new iPhone so …
wonder who the father of the kids is and if she gets child support? guessing the dad has no involvement if she's moving all the way back to wales with her kids!
If it was my kids and she moved to New Zealand
I would still find the money to fly out there now and again and Skype them once a week
I can't understand people who know they have children in the world and don't bother with them .😡😡😡🇬🇧
Where is the father(s)?
She's got a free home from the council, meaning she doesn't have to pay ridiculous rent to some wealthy landlord. I'm failing to see the negative about this outcome?!
In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.
Investing in gold, silver, digital currencies and stocks is a good idea, a good investing system would put you through many years of success.
That is why I work with John Desmond Heppolette, who introduced me to a better financial community, a verified organization where I learned how investing works and how to invest proficiently, as well as free books, courses, and daily lectures. You also get to meet new people, which was the best decision I ever made..
Yeah for real, John Desmond Heppolette, is one asset manager that gives the breakdown of everything on how things are done, joining an effective financial community can be 100% beneficial when joined properly that's all I can say out of experience..
That's great, your financial advisor must be really good, I have seen testimonies of people using the help of financial advisors in making them more financially stable. I just discovered his exceptional resume when I made a Googled search of his names online. I consider it a blessing that I discover this comment area!
I've been making more than seven figures passively investing with John Desmond Heppolette, who showed me the right community to join and grow mv finances and I don't have to do much work. It doesn't matter if the market is crashing, I will always make returns.
They gave her lovely place...She is very lucky..
