There is nothing wrong with experimenting and trying new products. As lash artist it is our job to always be on the lookout for better quality products for our clients. You don't need to spend so much just a couple products to try out and see if it works for you.

Hi!! So I tried the soco lashes stay a while glue and I’m too slow for it! Lol
So I’m wondering how did you like the yegi glue in your last video?? I know they have a 1-2sec glue
She is coming out with a beginner friendly glue that is a slower dry time but with the same retention as the regular stay a while. She said it was supposed to come out this week if not by Black Friday then really really soon. Honestly with the yegi glue my clients came back with worse retention than what I'm used to. The one I used was the Mega Bond the yellow one and banana scent and if that's their best glue it wasn't all that for me. It is job while so cool stocked up on their glue LOL but I probably will not purchase it again 🤷🏻♀️

YASSSS I cant wait for the volume vs mega volume 😍 They only teach us classics in my esthetician program lol 😭
Classics in the best way to get into lashing. If you can master classics then everything else is a plus. Volume and mega volume for sure are tricky because it's more work. But no worries I got you. Video coming soon.
@@YoyisLashBeauty YES, definitely! My girls who let me lash them in school are interested in volume and I tell them I want to make sure I master classics before I start doing volumes even if I start with pre made fans!
Nothing wrong with using premade fans but if you really want to get volume down you have to struggle to perfect it. I get that fanning is such a pain in the butt but if you can get that down that's what will make a good lash artist. Anyone can use premade fans and call themselves a lash artist. Only time I use them is when I'm running short on time or incase of emergencies that's what they are good for. I recommend to learn the hard way. You'll thank yourself down the road that you stuck it through. It's ok to learn both classic and volume at the same time. I jumped right in and learned all 4 styles at once and I wish I would've mastered classic first before jumping to the rest but I guess that's what made it more fun because I forced myself to learn them all at the same time lol 😂
@@YoyisLashBeauty I want to be able to make my own fans someday but Im a sahm so I cant afford to pay for training at the moment . Some girls in school were fortunate enough to get training aside from esthetician school and they still use premade fans and I dont get it 😭😭😭 If I paid over 1k for a volume/mega vol lash course I would deff be making my own fans 🥺
It's definitely easier to use fans but like I said there is nothing wrong with using them. But just practice on the side until you are ready to starting taking models for volume you can always pro-make them and use them as premades that helps out with time as well. It's like using premade fans bit atleast they are still yours.
How many clients you usually take a day?

Hey hun. I like LivBay Lash the big box. The have very thin bases. I don't think preamdes have anything to do with bad retention. If they aren't last it's probably because of glue or wasn't washed or primed properly or your clients aren't taking good care of their lashes.

How often do you switch your glue bottles out? A lash tech on ig said she changes hers out every two weeks?! As in a new bottle and lash glue is expensive
She must be fully booked or be using alot of it. I switch it every 3 weeks to a month depending. You definitely don't want to go past a month. So if your new and don't have alot of client switch out monthly. I like to keep it fresh fresh so every 3 weeks for me. I know glue can be expensive especially if your new and don't have many clients so you'll be fine every month on the dot.

I have yet to see someone hold their isolation tweezer with their palm closed. I am going to try that. Also, what tweezer are you using?
Yes I know I hold it wierd but I had such a hard time in the beginning trying to hold them the "normal way" and I couldn't do it. Palm closed just helps me keep my tweezers in place. The isolation tweezers I use are the Curvey Babe from LivBay Lash.

Yes! Same here that's why I hold it this way because I have more control. Lmk if it works for you. You'll have to get used to it at first but it's definitely easier then having it open.
