You are wrong on the loctite . the only time it is needed is high vibration or rotational areas of an rc. Being a rc guy who is a journeymen machinest and a certified master mechanic i find it very funny and discusting at the over use of the product. 90 to 95% of the kits screws do not need it and acutually hurt more then help the screw and performance of the clamping force. Just actually tighten the screws to a proper torque spec and you wont need loctite. And you will not strip out as many screws.

Chris Kavo the loctite used in electronics is more of a glue also due to heat . amd i been in the hobby since the late 80s run electric and nitro and i have never had a need for loctite on anything but grub screws on outdrive cups on the nitro and my sworks s104 evo center slipper . that is the only place other then on the gas or nitro motor itself that blue and in some cases red is needed. I am amazed at pencil pushers and non mechanical people think that loctite is the answer for everything.

Chris Kavo actually they dont not the kind of vibration that causes hardware to loosen. Gas and some nitro engines are unbalanced enough to cause vibration that could cause loosening hardware on the engines themselves but chassis hardware will not back out if tighten the proper way. Again the only place loctite is needed is small grub screws in the ends of axles and such. Chassis stuff specially counter sunk screws do not need any as the way the screw is designed itself locks the screw into place. Yall just make me laugh . i can remember way back to the original losi jrx2 and gold pan never was loctite use ever mentioned needed but a small drop on the ball diff screw. I have had 40 rc from off road to dirt oval to pan cars to nitro both on and off road. From losi tlr ae sworks hyperdrive even trinity pan cars also custom works and i even had and still kick my ass for selling a titain tko sprint car. The tko was the prototype to what became the trinity reflex dirt oval car and reflex sprint cars. Also hpi nitros on road touring cars still have the yokahmo touring cars. And again if assembled correct the only place needed was the grub screws holding the axles and the center slipper on the sworks.
