Let me get my drink n my sandwich so I can chill for this half homie cus I love watching this build! Did u hear about the build off I’m doing with like 8 other channels of the tamiya grasshopper! Build starts this week once all the people have there kits
I have the same servo on my vekta, I had to cut off the servo mounts off flush and use losi servo mounts for the big servo made by turtle racing. Maybe look into killer rc for voltage regulator when using 14.8v and gives a 6v for your rx as well.
Will you look into getting the redcat mx mobster truck tyres and adding snow spikes as crazy dirt ripping tread you could also fill them with expanding foam for longevity. I feel even just on the back two they will work epic with the size and power that has you need to think outside the box and look at the real life size rock bouncers esp outlaw its unbeatable with farm tread on rear and knobbly s on front
Alex V-i-P - Unfortunately we cant get Redcat in Australia at the moment, looks awesomeness but that’s a yeah nah. MT 1/5 scale gasser looks the ducks nuts 👍
RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 hey Steve I was wondering if you could give me a little advice....On my jlb cheetah the rear steering link popped out where it screws into the plastic chassis so it seems to now be strriped out where it screws into the chassis, I tried blue locktite first, then super glue and both didn't hold. Any tips or tricks to fix it? I'm worried that my truck might be junk now and would have to get a hole new chassis and swap everything over? And I don't think I could use a bigger screw cause that screw is the one that goes through the steering turnbuckle link. I'm lost mate....Any ideas? Thanks Steve

Id like to see a size comparison video....the kracken and the xmaxx
I showed it next to an xmaxx in the previous video :)
I just watched 6 videos back...the whole build series and the xmaxx servo mod there was no comparison in any of those
Where do I go to order parts for a build like yours?
Hey Steve, those stock tyres for sale?
That rear axle is the length of you forarm
Beautiful ay
First let’s goooo
Might need this for the steering servo www.davesmotors.com/FullForce-RC-VKT005-Kraken-Vekta-Steering-Servo-Mounts.html
God this build is difficult....Lol way past my expertise.
It's really not that bad. Just everything is massive so it definitely needs alot of room
