- To say I like this game would be an understatement. But in its current state, I feel as though I've hit a wall. Here's hoping for updates in the future.

Im still playing only because I made a friend who is now enjoying the helloutta it. With two of us we are mostly breezing through. He is a Heckova Sniper and I seem to be in my element at close quarters chaos. Just waiting for July 2nd and THAT game. We both will play. When Gray Zone finally grows up into a retail game I may come back.
Had a blast, also put in too many hours and loved every minute. But i'm at the same point late game its frustrating to the point of me playing other things. AI with perfect aim through multiple bushes. You shoot a vital, they shrug it off and 180 YOU in the exact same vital for a one shot. Not to mention the spawn timers. I really like this game tho, even still. And i'll be back when big changes happen next. Holding my breath til then.
Personally, As someone that has learned mouse and keyboard with this game... I love it. I managed to complete all the missions primarily solo including the final mission which I was able to get done with in 2 tries. Its just forces you to adapt and play different the further you get into your missions. There is absolutely a tactical way to get through areas. Jus takes time and patents. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
I played about 200 hours in this game ( I love it ❤ ), but I can't stand the AI. If they work on this game, I could see this being my favorite game in the future, but they do need a lot of work in this game. 😅🎉❤
I completed all tasks solo, its not to bad.
you can solo yolo a lot of the tiger bay missions. even easier if you bounce around servers looking for blue dots in the areas you need to go to. also, try funneling. I've solo'd the tiger bay "get 30 kills" and "kill the boss" missions by sneaking to a second floor room in the mall and shooting all the AI as they rush in the room. its super fun and satisfying.

Funneling seems to be the only way to survive Tiger Bay. I hate it. Its a cheesy but necessary tactic and for me it ruins the immersion of the game.
Same as you, I enjoy playing harder than average games. I'm a proud gamer that holds the achievement "Hard to the core" on xbox 360 for dead space 2. But man, tiger bay is just bad. Like you're immortal but get locked in a boiling pot and buried deep into earth's core kinda bad. Ya you can't die, but you wish you were.

Also - Lower that FOV... 55 is such a sweet spot. Need that extra visual help with the bush wookies

There was literally 10 bots pushing up that hill lmao
every update i get on and see if the glock is still useless and it is, they did such a good job on it and i want to use it so bad but its just an airsoft gun at this point. every ammo type is the same on armored or un armored enemies. i managed to kill an AI with a semi realistic amount of ammo at point blank but any further and its 3 27 roudn mags.
The glock building system is so sick yeah. And I would definitely carry one too if it did anything. At this point it's just adding weight to my rig :/

144 frames anywhere else. 112 average in Tiger Bay. Specs- 4070ti 13th gen I7 32 gigs of ddr4 ram running at high 1440p. I know I’m “lucky” but this is just reference for anyone with similar specs
I call bs. I'd have to see to believe.
2080 super, 10900k, which is normally enough for most games. But I'm also recording which eats some performance. Mix that with it being super unoptimized, gets rough at some points. Not to mention playing in ultra wide is a big issue with some games, it's the last thing they optimize. But it's hard to go back to a normal aspect ratio after you've tried it.

@@piggy201 I play on both. But that clip in the beginning from tiger Bay was in a PVE server. The AI behavior is the biggest problem in the game. I'm fine with losing to people, I just don't have a lot of fun gear dumping to bots.
Tired of all these titles that dog on the game, it will scare off people that don't understand it's early release, pre alpha and will be in early release for multiple years.
I don't think it's my video titles that we have to worry about scaring away new players. It's inaccessible enough already. You lose a certain amount of slack with me when you charge full price for an ea game. I love this game and I want to see it grow, but that's not going to stop me from airing my frustration about the state of it. The devs are in a very dangerous place of possibly killing the hype of this game. Many players I know have stopped playing at this point, including me. I'm just hoping they fix some of these more pressing issues before the next wipe.
Feel bad for everyone who fell for this shit they took advantage of tarkov controversy and I know lots of people got tricked into a half baked game same with arena breakout shit underdelivered

Game is still Alpha. They doing ok. People just expect a full retail when they PAY for a game. Not happening.

The game has been unplayable since the beginning of early access. Nothing has actually changed.
Absence of hideout and miscellaneous loot, cheap gear, stupid boring quests. These make your pmc's life worthless, you do not experience adrenaline and stress, rushing towards the exfil.
AI and performance issues simply add to the overall dissatisfaction
This may become an interesting game in two-three years, but for now, it's just basically a bemchmark, rather than a game
It doesn't take much for me to buy into a game tbh. I did pick up early on that the tasks were a bit simple, but I've grinded worse. The gunplay is quite good sometimes, and the progression system made me want to level my traders.
But I agree it's in a very bad state. And what's worse is they haven't shown any sign that they understand how big the A.I. behavior problem is. It's not one or two bots having perfect aim. It's the biggest issue. And the updates aren't reflecting that.
@@father_andi affirmative. The game was a gasp of fresh air for me after Tarkov tragedy 04/25/24. Unfortunately, not for long.
More unfortunately, the devs may not even understand the AI problem completely. As many others, they have made the same, critical mistake -- to bet on high-end graphics, instead of truly immersive and overwhelming gameplay. The latter creates a constant player base and attracts new ones. Either it is a long-term strategy,, or an attemp to jump into PC-gaming world. This remains unknown
I consider all of your complaints a challenge in the game. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Thank god we dont have to agree what that is.
@@halrichard1969 no one says anything in a game is a challenge. If there was a single little challenge in the game, it would be a joy to play, but it is just a better looking, and more boring copy of older TaCtIcAl extraction shooters
