Ordinary high school boy Shido discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through his sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical creatures responsible for the spacequakes. Shido is recruited to help “seal” the sprits and end their threat to mankind. There’s just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit-is to make her fall in love with you.

I had exactly the same question. Link is not working for me and I can’t find the anime on @crunchyroll !!! I’d really like to watch it here in Austria, pls do something, it’s getting boring
Seeing your only family member getting stabbed right in front of your very own eyes would reasonably traumatize anyone, even if they fight each other every now and then
The worst part is that Yuzuru and Kaguya were originally one person spirit Yamai, but they were split into two becoming the Yamai sisters
Their Angel Raphael is also split into 2, each having 1 wing, the bow for Kaguya and the chain string for Yuzuru
Also their Sephiroth Crystal Mio took out was one half, with Yuzuru having the other to complete the Crystal
They each wanted the other to live at the cost of their own life. Now that's sisterly love 😢
You knew the second Mio stabbed Kaguya that Tohka and The Yamais were fighting a losing battle
Yeah, like I knew this season was going to get dark and this greatly surpassed Shido getting decapitated in the final episode of Season 4, you know that you are in way over your head against Mio cause according to her Spirit Data (Strength, Consistency, Reiryoku, Agility and Intelligence) on the Date A Live wiki, they all cap out to 999 which is fitting for a Triple S-Class Spirit like Mio.
The moment Mio brought out Ain Soph Aur showed they were in a losing battle
The worst about it is that Ain Soph Aur is her weakest angel ( in my opinion )
She's the Spirit of Origin, basically the first spirit! Naturally she'd be Max OP!!
So remember how the Spirits shown in the Season 5 opening were in a very specific order? Yeah, this was that reason. I knew this season was going to get really dark after Shido got decapitated from the 204 assassinations during the final episode of Season 4 and now that Mio has make her true appearance outside of the flashbacks, don't bother trying to fight her, because you would already be dead.
Shido/Shinji would do in his power to UNO reverse card it lol. 😂
Because after he got Kurumi's spirit power and beat Wescott, he knows what he should do.
well...if it follows the light novel, a few are misplaced
At this point, Mio has taken the Yandere thing to new heights!

Honestly this new season has been both fun to watch and also sad especially the death of kurumi had me in tears 😭💔
I agree with you i'm loving this season so far but compared to kaguya kurumies death had me nearly in tears as well i'm so glad kurumi eventually gets her Revenge.

Bad news: Mio ends up killing all the other spirits in THIS timeline;
Good news: A single Kurumi clone survived, allowing Shido to seal her and go back in time to undo all of this;

Even if the clothes are very revealing, the spiritual armor protects them quite well regardless of appearance (I point this out for those who don't know)
But yeah, it's funny how their armor is sometimes like: _"That girl must be cold"_ 🤣
nah, the astral dress very conveniently provides equal protection everywhere
plus, that attack is essentially unblockable regardless

Well, here is the difference in power between Mio and all of the other Spirits. Mio lives up to the Title of Deus.
And keep it in mind that Mio is being nice by giving them the chance to fight back.

Best anime of this season
We went from Mukuro showing how impressive she is in battle, during this battlefield, to Mio outshining everyone in the battlefield because afterall what is an angel to a Deus

she is there mother and shes doing it to get her real boyfrend back who is basically what the MC is she used her magic uterius to regenerate him as a half sprit nd was making more of her kind to attune her crystals to human biology. Kurami and Sister are her first stable daughters and Kurami lost her best frend to Mio testing Elfreet on her. ironicaly it's barely stable on Koteri who if left unsealed would burn the world.
I wonder if she’ll come back from that? Maybe with fire? Kurumi?

That aside, this episode absolutely devastated me and I feel like I'm gonna be even more devastated in the upcoming episodes.
I have no idea how this will work out in the end, but I'm guessing Shido will change history again by using Zaphkiel. (Pls don't spoil it for me)
