Sooooo many guitar manufacturers make luminescent side for inlays now. It super convenient.
Thats what i did for my Electric Fender and my Accoustic Simon&Patrick and trust me when you play arround a campfire at night with your buddies it really helps. But some manufacturer have fluorescent things on the side to help you with that 👍

I think it’s just proves that he’s not picky. If he picks something up, he plays it (regardless if it’s stock or custom), and if he likes it, he uses it. And if he doesn’t like it, he doesn’t play it.
It took me a couple minutes to realize that Chris isn't in this because he doesn't play anything but imagine how funny it would be if he was like "I'm Chris and this is my voice" haha I'm funny.

He does come off as anxious. There are plenty of people in big bands that don't know about gear though. That's the tech's job. The musician just plugs in, goes out, plays, hands the guitar off when they're done, and that's it lol.
Omg, all of the band members have such calming, quiet voices. I absolutely loved this video. I didn't understand a single thing they were talking about but I just loved hearing them talk. And my poor Ricky was so shy but he explained his fear really well and people just need to stop giving him shit for not knowing his gear.

Tyler Eastburn The second bass drum is just for looks, the feeling of two separate bass drums is different from using a double pedal on one bass drum.
Yeah. It's for a classic look but a modern feel.
So you only have to tune and mic up one bass drum, but get the balanced look of two. If I had 2 bass drums, I'd do the same thing
It's probably easier to get the same sound out of one drum than 2 separate drums. Then again I'm sure he uses triggers so it wouldnt matter if they sounded like a paper bag

This is the most I've heard ghost speak I'm living. Also why is everyone taking a dump on Ricky? He's fucking shy and likely nervous. From someone with social anxeity, we can know a lot about something but will not be good at explaining it if we're nervous. If he can play the songs and knows how to use his guitar what's the problem? A guitar Tech exists for a reason it's not like it's the end of the world if Ricky doesn't know exactly down to a T what his gear is for or does since it's HIS job to go on stage and play the songs and that's it.

It blows my mind when I see artists with 2k+ dollar guitars and still choose to play their import production models. It really shows that you can get all the guitar you need for a reasonable price. If Motionless can play live with a 900 dollar LTD, I'm good with what I have. lol

+Brandon Swinson The second bass drum is for looks. The double bass look is what this band is going for. Also if something happens to the main bass drum it is far easier to have the second one and switch them out than it is to fix the main bass.

I guess they use distortion from the amplifiers with very high gain and noise suppressors

Does Ricky just use normal strings? for a heavier sound like slipknot...well that's what my guitar teacher told me. Because I'm starting to learning some miw song's because I love there music.
He uses, I guess, more thicker strings, because he has a baritone guitar which is great for down tuning

Does it matter what guitar I use?
Not really, as long as your guitar's action is set to accomodate the lower tunings and you have thick strings installed, you should be fine. But, it would definitely be worth it to invest in a baritone guitar if you have the funds necessary to purchase a baritone

Edit: these days I see it’s similar to having a wall of Marshall’s with only one head and cab being used.
I'd shit if that guitar was the guitar I sold to guitar center. It's basically the same thing as that but I removed the tone in favor of a emg afterburner and my volume pots were also switched to coil tap volume pots so I could independently tap either of the Duncan's that I put in it. I miss that guitar.... Oh well.
So I'm going to start learning guitar (I'm 12) and I sing in a band but we need another guitar so that's why I'm learning. I have no idea what they're talking about could I learn all that by the time I'm all grown up?

+lioneye66SID Damn, yeah that's pretty useful I suppose. But I don't think bass drum heads break as long as you don't bury the hammer into the bassdrum head all the time. I used to bury my hammer and I broke two bass drum heads in the past but since I learned to use a different technique and adjust my pedal settings, I haven't had any damage so far.
