Beautiful truck love the flat top look old school don't see much of those type of trucks anymore. Like always you did an amazing job designing this truck
@@dwjunior true but some driver's don't need the big sleeper for their application. For example, I use to haul steel in Michigan with doubles and 50ft 8 axles. I didn't need a stand up sleeper due to some of the areas I had to deliver in, the flattop 60in was perfect.
@dwjunior hauling asphalt and fertilizer around home a shorter bunk is nice if you need a nap at the field and you have a toolbox. You don't need a big sleeper to go home every night.
Andy, thank you for the awesome videos! It's time that we spec a truck from start to finish right off of the order form. That would be an amazing video and very helpful to all of us!
If I could afford one, I'd take it just like this but with the neway suspension over the 8-bag. Yet, still an amazing classic looking truck. Well done!
17:05 that exhaust elbow going down into the DPF needs a chrome cover!! I’m shocked that was overlooked. It looks out of place on that beautiful truck!!
Wish KW would make the sleeper opening bigger like Peterbilt does it would make it easier to get into the bunk and you could move the seat back more to get leg room these flat glass trucks look amazing but you only get daycab legroom even with the sleeper
You haven't been in a kenworth, if thats what you think ! Last 2 rides , 379 Pete. W900 Limited Edition kenworth, studio sleeper, 2 beds more room in the kenworth than any rig ive ever had before. And the seat would go into the sleeper a bit
@@royphelps8084 studio sleeper is the aero cab not a flat glass cab the company I work for has a whole fleet of daycabs and flat glass T800’s with the coffin sleeper just like this. The opening is tiny and you can’t slide the seat into the sleeper
@@royphelps8084 it doesn’t have anything to do with 900 vs 800 it’s the same cab and sleeper the only difference is the 800 has a setback steer axle and sloped hood. The flat glass and flat top cabs are different than the aero cabs a studio sleeper is an aero cab this is a flat top cab
Oregon Trucker you are correct!!! I own a 2000 W900L flat glass and you are correct, im looking to make the opening bigger with peterbuilt sleeper parts and a 60" flat top sleeper box , my truck is currently a day cab.
Thanks for sharing this video. Its nice to see paint striping comming back on the paint jobs! The "tail pipes" are called exhaust stacks! Looks like the tires are 11R-24.5s!
Andy..why some of w900 dont have that window frame in the middle, like modern frameless windshield..but this one got that mid frame?am i missing somthing?
why are the lower exhaust elbows not chromed on W900s. I agree it's so out of place not to be a standard item on such a classic as Kenworth trucks are.
That’s such a gorgeous truck!! You guys killed it!!!! The bunk lights are perfect where you put them. Those Shift front directional look amazing. My favorite whenever you put them on!! I’m with you on the old school bunk fan. Things like that add a lot. I wish Terry much luck and happiness with this truck. Enjoy your dinner tonight Andy!!
I can deploy upgraded full emissions intact calibrations that will save $20k-$30k per truck per year, for the ISX15 (2013-16) and X15 (2017-22) platforms. I've had over 1 mil miles testing... They increase 400+ lbs ft of torque, improve drivability and driver efficiency and productivity (40+ min per day). You can pull Eisenhower, with 80k lbs, at 40 mph with CC on.
I think we need more of these type of flat top trucks I like the design to them it’s real classy
Only three words can describe how I feel about this truck , I'm in love 🤩
Such a cool old school throw back with the flat top sleeper and the retro paint!!!
I love the white CB antennas. Very nice touch. The rest is just Awesome! Rock Star status now! Congratulations Terry!
Andy that is one of the best looking KW I've seen in a long .I for one wouldn't change anything about it 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Larry
Love the sleeper set up, looks really good . Especially the door vents, always loved using those, and. The ones they used to put on at your feet
Its so old looking and so new looking at the same time its soo good
I know right
Beautiful truck love the flat top look old school don't see much of those type of trucks anymore. Like always you did an amazing job designing this truck
I like how you have the lights on the sleeper you do an amazing job on designing the truck's and the attention to detail is amazing
Why can't Kenworth bring back the 60in flattop sleeper????
For the money, why not have a better sleeper?
@@dwjunior true but some driver's don't need the big sleeper for their application. For example, I use to haul steel in Michigan with doubles and 50ft 8 axles. I didn't need a stand up sleeper due to some of the areas I had to deliver in, the flattop 60in was perfect.
I like the mid roof sleeper its definitely a beautiful KW

Been a subscriber for a long while now and this has to be my favorite truck! Great job Andy!
Turned out awesome 👍👍 I think a 2 piece windshield looks much better with flat glass than on the curved windshield.
It’s classic for sure
Its more functional too. Wipers tend to work better on flat surfaces. Rock chips only harm half not whole.
What an awesome classic look. This is a great build. Why don’t more people go for discs all around though versus drums?
That is one nice truck!! Great job keeping the classic look in the W900. I would be one proud driver
Thanks so much
That is a beautiful truck, the perfect combination of modern comfort and classic design
Thank you
The truck looks amazing. Great placement on the lights behind the cab I would have done the same.
Nice. Thanks for watching
I would love to have one of these but with the old-school 60 in areodyne1 sleeper.this is my dream with a 280 wb
If I could afford one, I'd take it just like this but with the neway suspension over the 8-bag. Yet, still an amazing classic looking truck. Well done!
Beautiful BLUE truck 🚚 💙 😍 👌

They won't put chrome elbows on , can't withstand the heat
Amazing flat top! So glad they are bringing them back

Beautiful 🇺🇸 W900L Andy ~ definitely my kind of Kenworth. America's 🇺🇸 finest 👌 built to last a lifetime !!!
Great to see you Andy!!
Thanks for watching
If Kenworth was Smart they would never stop making the flat glass. There will always be a market for the classics.
DEF Tank on a Flat Glass Truck? How could you? I know, I know, it has to be done. Beautiful truck great job👍
HaHa yep a fake flat glass . Like a fake Dimond or fake gold , cool looking but not the real deal...
Omega!!! Looks awesome!
That is a gorgeous truck you out did your self Andy just wish I could get one my self to drive here in the states.
Thanks Tracy! Would love it if I could sell anywhere.
wow, what a truck new old school w-9 what ordering code can you use to do a dpf delete haha, very nice ordering job.
Needs blue interior! It would make it that much more old school! Still beautiful though! Can't wait to see on the road!

i need one of those with small sleeper and big cat motor. driving my freightliner classic until i find one of those KW and buy it
Fine looking truck keep the videos coming. Stay safe
You got it
Very nice truck, thank you for giving us the weight
You bet
If this truck was spec d out identical but with split curved glass, would it be true dual exhaust ? Or still just connected to the one?

Do the w 990 and w 900 come in automatic because I have a automatic restriction on my license.?
Wait you can get new flat glass l/b models kinda weird to see now I'm used to the one piece curved and newer cab style
Hi Andy, excellent classic truck

Gorgeous truck!
Where can I find real chrome for my 1998 Kenward
I was curious if the sleeper cutout was bigger. Apparently not
Truck kenworth, i like it. For road train. I"m support your channel
Thank you!
I think there's nothing that says "American truck" more than a W900, and this is a fine example indeed. :)
Why can’t you get air ride front axle and atomic transmission?
Hey Andy is the T800 still available? I heard it is being discontinued for Latin America
I dare you to build a real old school truck complete with the old school window crank
Mine has the window crank .
Sweet Ride 😋
Where do you get the lower hood mounts ?
Built at the factory. It’s a kenworth part
Beautiful truck
That's my dream truck
