We live in a wonderful time when we look at sims like this. The quality is just friggin amazing, both physics and graphics. Oh, and let me not forget the VR experiences we have nowadays, even with Track IR.
Yeah , P47s were good divers...so were the 190s....Scenario : P47 dives down , 190 can follow for a while , P47 is now low altitude where the 190 has better speed...nothing gained for the p47 other then some distance (wouldnt be that far away) , which 190 with the higher low-level speed will catch up to... what has the 47 now gained ? NOTHING.The 190 will outmanouever it down low easily.... better to stay up.... :) Edit : theres never a simple manouever to gain the upper hand or escape just with one thing your aircraft may be slightly better at...its always a equation of how to manage your energy (altitude + speed)....
@@rcpilot9963 :D yeah the 51 will be more of a challenge , although it also comes down to inital position and energy state and also the experience level of the pilots... there are many misconceptions about "this plane was simply better , this plane won the war".... not trying to be arrogant or didactic here... ;)
@@Zopzodeman p 51 will be better as soon as it didn't stay long time in high G turn and loosing his energy , D9 have a better power/weight ratio and despite having a lower rate of turn , it can sustain his energie and outurn a mustang at low speed and in a climb , the mustang have the initiative at medium and high altitudes but the D9 could avoiding combat ...…. winner depend on pilots ; basicaly p47 and p51 just have to stay high , the more were high the more were fasters , D9 won't catch them !!!! the Ta 152 could but it's an other story !!!
select LSHIFT and R to activate manual radiator, then select RCTRL and = to increase thermostat to 100% then you are able to zoom up high at full power without throttle issues. Cheers :)
P-47 was flying in combat with his cowl flaps open and his intercooler incorrectly positioned out of neutral position like a noob. results of combat invalid.

Those P47 were flown by AI for sure. Real P47 pilot will dive and Fw190D couldnt catch him.
