You should try 螺蛳粉 (Luo si fen) also known as River Snail Rice Noodles next time. It comes in a packaging with the ingredients. It's nice and can be spicy. But has a distinct smell when you cook it.
I actually love instant hotpot. The one I tried is the one that has a heating pack thing, the one that when you pour normal water to it, it will heat up... It's pretty good... But I still love normal hotpot tho...

But I can't really complain since it's at least better than eating a cup of instant noodles everyday, and I can't really cook since I'm busy with school all the time (not to mention part-time job), and my mom's schedule doesn't really match with mine (since she's very busy), so I'm pretty much left alone. But on the good side though, at least they're good (well, some brands).

If I remember correctly is pour water into the food. Then after that pour water into the heat pack below. After that put the food container on top to cover it. So that below heatpack will boil up the food and steam would come out from the opening on the bowl cover🤣
