    Can you please do a vid or two to demonstrate the motor noise on level ground and on a climb? Have you done a max range test yet to wher ethe battery is on its last bar (or blinking)?

    You being 6 foot, why did you pick the 27.5 over the 29er? Would like to hear your opinion. Also any chance of a short video of you riding it? Thanks.

      As far as I could tell the bigger wheels doesnt make the bike any bigger. All of the Measurements stay the same. I Think the taller sidewall on the 27.5 plus tires cancels out the smaller wheels giving you an overall diameter close to the 29er. So I decided Id rather have the big fat squishy 2.8" 27.5 tires over the 2.3" 29er tires. I will try to get a little riding footage for you.

    How is it after riding for a while? I'm wanting to buy this bike but I'm getting a lot of mixed reviews. Everything I can find about these bikes is that they are amazing or that they are complete garbage. I plan on riding it fairly rough, downhill and jumps. Do you think it could handle that?

      The bike has been great. Id say rough rocky chunky downhill wont be a problem. All of the components are name brand, wtb wheels, shimano hubs, rockshox suspension. The frame seems fairly stout and well built. It is a trail bike though and is great at it. Small trail jumps should be fine. 20 foot gaps at whistler are probaly above the paygrade of the suspension.

    Nice. You don't see many vids on these bikes. Appreciate the feedback. What's the weight of the bike? I have the onyz lzr pro it's about 47lbs with the same motor.

    Heya, I got one of these and had to re-route the brake and speed sensor cables as the tire knobs were rubbing. Did you have this issue?

      This thing is $1400 less. Thats a lot of dirtbike tires and gas.

    I don't think adding pistons to a hand brake makes any difference whatsoever. This is not power assisted. It seems to me that adding pistons will divide your force and lose more due to double the points of resistance.
    My 4000 pound car has single piston disc brakes. It stops fine.

      @@DerekandMiki Are you denying most cars have single piston brakes?

    • @DerekandMiki
      @DerekandMiki  3 місяці тому

      Its not a car. When was the last time you saw a high end ebduro bike that didnt have 4 piston brakes?

      @@DerekandMiki Disc brakes are disk brakes. The main difference is mass. What appears or doesn't appear on bikes is not a negation of the fact that single piston calipers are good enough to stop a car weighing 2 tons.
      There may be other advantages. It may lower the amount of grip strength needed by the rider or some other advantage.
