Hi...ve had loads of comments about the t4 cruiser MAX & people having problems like no throttle etc SO ive made this video to show the P-Settings & my scooters values - If you are having problems make sure your settings match mine.....

Below are the list of all the P codes and fault codes from the manual.
4.Setting
P01: backlight brightness, level 1 is the darkest, level 3 is the brightest;
P02: mileage unit, 0: KM; 1: MILE;
P03: Voltage level: 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, 64V Default 36V;
P04: Sleep time: 0, no sleep; other numbers are sleep time, range: 1-60; unit minutes;
P05: Power assist position: 0, 3 file mode: 1, 5 file mode:
P06: Wheel diameter: unit, inch; accuracy: 0.1; This parameter is related to the display speed of the meter and needs to be entered correctly.
P07: Number of speed magnets: Range: 1-100; This parameter is related to the display speed of the meter and needs to be entered correctly. If it is a normal hub motor, directly input the number of magnetic steel; If it is a high speed motor, it is also necessary to calculate the reduction ratio, input data = number of magnets × reduction ratio; For example: motor magnet steel number 20, reduction ratio 4.3: input data: 86=20×4.3
P08: Speed limit: the range is 0-100km/h, 100 means unlimited speed. The input data here indicates the maximum running speed of the vehicle: for example, input 25, indicating that the maximum running speed of the vehicle does not exceed 25km/h; the driving speed is maintained at the set value. Error: ±1km/h; (both assist and speed limit) Note: The value here is based on kilometers. When the unit setting is converted from kilometer to mile, the speed value of the display interface will be automatically converted to the correct mileage value, but the speed limit value data set at this menu under the mile interface. No conversion, inconsistent with the actual display mile speed limit value;
Note: The P09-P15 menu is only valid in the communication state.
P09: zero start, non-zero start setting, 0: zero start; 1: non-zero start;
P10: Drive mode setting 0 : Power drive (the booster position determines how much power is output, and the switch is invalid). 5 1 : Electric drive (driven by the rotary handle, the power assist position is invalid at this time). 2 : Power assist drive and electric drive coexist simultaneously
P11: Boost sensitivity setting Range: 1-24;
P12: Boost start strength setting Range: 0-5;
P13: Power magnetic steel disc type setting 5,8,12 magnetic steel three types
P14: Controller current limit value setting Default 12A Range: 1-20A
P15: Controller undervoltage value
P16: ODO clear setting Long press the up button for 5 seconds ODO clear
P17:0: cruise is not enabled, 1: cruise is enabled; auto cruise is optional (only valid for protocol 2)
P18: Display speed ratio adjustment range: 50%~150%,
P19: 0 gear enable bit, 0: 0 gear, 1: 0 gear
P20:0: Protocol No. 2 1: 5S Protocol 2: Alternate 3: Alternate

After tweaking it like this my e-scooter lost power?? I had a max speed of 40 and now i have 22kmh. With that i got a error code 11 how do i fix this :)
I have a ix4 and the indicator is stuck going left, do you know what to do?

Hi I have recently bought this LCD display for my 24v E+city raider. It doesn't seem to register how fast I'm going and it seems to be going alot faster than I once did on my old display. Is there anything I could be doing wrong in the settings?

Hello, i have a problem, i've done settings just like you did, P8 setting on 100 and my scooter goes only 19km/h, it suppose to go 45km/h. Do you know what might be the problem?

Does anyone know what the error code E11 means? For some reason, my scooter only goes up to 27 km an hour, and my P settings are exactly the same as shown in the video.

Hi - Cheers for watching - The magnets are for PAS as this display is made for both escooters & ebikes so it wont affect our scooters 🤟
Thanks for replying that’s good to know. Also i have turned the p8 setting all the way to 100 but I am only getting about 22mph max out of the scooter on the speedometer, I thought that this maxes out at 28mph is there anything else I should do to get the full speed?
@@qaisofficialmusic look at my other scooter vids & the comments as a few people have put drop P07 down it goes 30mph then but ive not tried it yet as its always raining here !
Did changing the P7 change anything? My scooter on the base/the settings you have recommended only goes 17mph?

Hi. Thanks for the very helpful vid. I’ve just bought and used for the first time the T4 and used your setting. The only problem is that the speedo is not showing the correct speed. I’m doing around 15+mph but is only shows 4mph. This is also affecting the trip etc. Is there a setting o help this? Cheers

Hi Paul have you ever had E10 come up on your t4? And do you know what the problem is comes up error and won't accelerate but it does come back on after 5mins or so..

Throttle broke
I have one of these LCD displays, if I press the minus button for a few seconds the motor switches on and runs at a constant speed but the throttle only works backwards and another long press or brake stops the motor, other than that the throttle does not work at all.
Hi Colin - Theres p0 setting that selects pas or throttle or both - have you checked that?Also theres some p0 settings that will disable the throttle as these controllers are made for ebikes & escooters....

@@damspec4208 All i know pressing minus & holding it activates walk mode & the brake stops it BUT other than that i dont know - Maybe someone can post a comment on how to fix it

Never ridden a escooter and doing my home work came down to the pure air pro or the T4 max but after watching your vids leaned me in a positive direction to the T4 👍

Its a 48v battery i'd advise run it at 48v to be safe...

Hi - You wont get this scooter any faster unless you fit a 1000w controller & then i still dont think itll do 40mph as ive only had 26mph & thats with the best P-0 settings !! thanks for watching...

Hi Graham - ive just googled it for you - It looks like error e10 is a communication error between the display & the controller..On the forum it said that the P-setting p20 controls this communication...But a good few people said its unfixable & needs returning !!! But i'd have a mess with p20 values & its worth a shot mate...Hope this helps ⚡

Brake light, I want a number
My scooter goes 20mph I’m way under the 120kg weight load it states 36mph but doesn’t do no where near that
Yeah its a LIE i got 26mph on mine !!!! & im 88kg !!
@@paulleeFLOW I’m managed to get mine over 30mph I’m 105kg I changed a few other things in my P settings to do 32 max on bumpy roads that’s all I have around my area 90% potholed roads

E06 error. No electric power to scooter engine. Need to charge scooter.
