Assolutamente meravigliosa esecuzione; incantevole per grazia ed eleganza assoluta il balletto : ci fa capire la raffinata eleganza di un'epoca, male conosciuta e interpretata ai giorni nostri per il "politicamente corretto"... . Tutto ciò esprime bene la grandezza della Civiltà Europea : armonia, misura, serena bellezza; meraviglia del Barocco !
I like how these performers use vibrato as an ornamentation and not with every note.

It is indeed remarkable how such historically "korrect" musical performances go so thoroughly wrong the minute they are physicalized in dance or operatic mise-en-scene, as in this jejune pantomime of stereotyped masculine jealousy by two cross-dressing women.
Upon listening and watching further, I feel that authenticity should have been adhered to. The period costume was not accurate.
