Cricut tip, place all of the different coloured papers on your mat at the same time and cut them all out at once. On the cut preview page you can move your images to the exact spot you want so just put them on the corresponding colour ❤
Ohhhhh my gosh of course why didn’t I think of this 😂 thank you! I’m so used to using my smaller Cricut Joy where there’s only room for one piece at a time.
Ralph, Love this Christmas Card. As always, your instructions are really easy to follow. When I clean my Cricut Mats, I use Washing Up Liquid and an old circular Washing Up Brush, then using circular motions, gently clean the mat, completely rinse with the shower, then hang on a hook on Kitchen wall and leave to air-dry. When it's completely dry, I use the hook to hold the mat so I can get the cover back on. I'm still using my original cutting mat I got with my Cricut Explore Air 2 in April 2021. Hugs from Scotland, UK
@@ralphtyndall Aye, they're definitely sticky when dry, as I'm still using my first mats I got in 2021. The old Washing Up Brush I use, you can fill with Washing Up Liquid, then I just press down to get a little, then gentle movements, I don't 'scrub' them. When I first got my Cricut Explore Air 2 and was watching UA-cam on how to use it, I found some crafters suggested we use Dawn Washing Up Liquid, but I'm in the UK and it's Fairy Washing Up Liquid I use.
Ralph, first -- congratulations on your line of products coming out with Hero Arts!!!!!!! 🎉💫💙👏 I'm so tickled for you and just know your line will be a huge hit for both you and Hero Arts!! Secondly, your card is so cute and creative! The tiny sweaters on that line are perfectly adorable. Did you know that when I turned 70 in September, my kids and grands got me a Cricut Joy because I had talked about your videos? Yep -- it's getting a workout here along with my traditional cardmaking supplies and I love it, so thank you for that too! 🤗❤
I’ve been teaching stamping/card making 30+ yrs. I buy most of my card stock by the package (250). I separate it out & have 50% of it cut @4.25” & the other 5.50”. I take it to Office Depot/Max & they only charge $1 per cut. I also have them cut stamping mats & layering mats. Best thing is it’s always cut perfect. And always ready there on my desk. Congrats on the Hero Art news they’re a great company to work with. Amy
I'm so excited to see your products next year! This card is super cute. I love all the cricut tips because I purchased the Joy but hardly used it until I started following you. Thank you Ralph!
Great to see you back Ralph! Congrats on your deal with Hero Arts! Wonderful Company! I'm such a hoarder I have unopened products from them that go back decades!! Can't wait to see what your partnership produces! Great job! 😀👍
Great card!! I have good luck gentle scrubbing my cricut mats with dish soap and letting them air dry. I have also had success adhering to twine using glue dots. Can't wait to get my sweatshirt!
The little sweaters are adorable. I love tiny things. I do have a few sweater stamps of different kinds and have only used the one on a card for my husband for Valentine's Day. The green is better because it's bold, but won't knock your eyes out. :D I absolutely LOVE the card you made!!!🥰
Congratulations Ralph! So happy for you! I look forward to seeing your product line! Hero Arts is a great company, wishing you the very best! I love your card! It is vintage and cute, you created a cozy Christmas card! Thank you so much for sharing. I enjoy your channel, you are fun and I love to watch you create your fabulous cards. Merry Craftmas!
This video was so fun! I love when you make decisions by talking out loud!! I talk out loud (occasionally) but I'm usually shouting vocabulary that makes my cats blush!! This card turned out really cute. The sweaters are perfect! Congrats on your Hero Arts collaboration. This is a major league accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself. I'm anxious to see your "creative style" come to life in stamps and dies! TFS!
I scrape all the junk off the mat and then use baby wipes to clean them. I do let them dry well before using. If they aren't sticky enough, I use blue painters tape to tape off all the edges that should not be sticky and take them outside, place in a box and lightly spray with repositionable adhesive. Once I'm satisfied that they are sticky all over, I pull off the tape. If they're too sticky, I place my hands all over the mat to tone down the stickiness. I have my original mats from 2014 and they still work great. How about using foam dots to adhere the yarn to the sweaters and stick them to the card at the same time? Cute card.
Congratulations Ralph so happy and excited for you to be living your dream!! Love watching your videos and your little emoji pop ups are super adorable and funny! Keep up the great work!
What a cute card and thanks for taking us along for the process! I have a cricut explore 1 (it is 9 years old) and am thinking of getting the Joy Extra mostly for writing text out. So excited for you with your partnership with Hero Arts. They are such a great company. Can’t wait to see what you created.
A huge congrats on your product line and partnership with Hero Arts! That is amazing! Can't wait to see what you have designed. Love the card, so cute and those Cricut sweaters are adorable. Love your sweatshirt too.
Ralph, I just love your videos and your imagination!! Your card came out so perfect!! I love the idea of the clothes line, and the sweaters are so adorable!! Congratulations again on your Hero Arts product line!! I can’t wait to see all your designs!! Hero Arts is a favorite of mine too!! 😍
What an awesome card. I LOVE it ❤. Thanks Ralph for sharing. Gayle 🎉CONGRATULATIONS on your new line and I LOVE HERO ARTS. Can’t wait to see your new line. 🎉🎉🎉
It's tough adding anything to string. I added snowflake confetti to some fairy lights (not on the light part but the string). I was trying to glue them to each other but many ended up single as everything kept sticking to my fingers. I have used die cuts on a string on the inside of the card. Congrats on your new line. (I think you've mentioned this somewhere else before?)
At first I thought you had used concord and 9ths new Christmas sweater set. Yours is just as cute. Congratulations on your partnership with HA. I saw that earlier this week and was so happy to see how far you have come in such a short amount of time. You have to be on cloud 9. I’m looking forward to seeing what you designed.
Hooray!! What an ideal collaboration with your fresh take and amazing talent for card making and Hero arts to back you! Can’t wait - I’m sure you’ll continue to lure more and more paper crafters to this fun hobby! Thank you for including electronic die cutting in your creations! The sky is the limit! 👏👏👏🎉🎉
Ohh I love your card, it feels so cozy! and your voice is so relaxing is like Bob Ross’s but with crafting. 😊Congratulations for the new project 🎉🎉you have a fan in Mexico😍
Love this card, Ralph! I especially love how you're integrating the Cricut into your designs. I'm a Cricut crafter-turned-card-maker, and sometimes I forget how easy it would be to add some elements using the Cricut instead of my card-making supplies. Especially when you have a particular vision and not quite the exact stamp/die pieces you need to bring it to life!

Do you find that it’s sticky again after this? I tried scrubbing one of mine with dish soap but it didn’t seem to get its “stick” back!

Nice, you got a joy xtra! I just got mine too.
I just wash my mats with soapy water, let them dry then restick them with Zig 2way glue.
Wowzers congratulations, and I love this fun card. Fabulous stuff. Tfs ❤

With the cricut, use baby wipes to clean the mats and then allow them to dry naturally... it does make them last longer..
