Wow. It's a lot of work getting them ready to go to their for3ver homes. Have you been walking the goats you're taking to show? How exciting. May God's hand be over you in all you do. ❤❤❤
Honestly no, but the girls (moms) that go into the pasture walk really well on a leash, so I hope they behave. There is a lot to do baby related and farm related in general so, comes July, we will try the walking for sure 🤓 I’m just not 100% sure who I’m taking so whoever doesn’t behave stays ? 😝😂 I’m pretty sure I’m taking Clara& Athene. Everest (Gaia’s girl), Clarita And Denali (for fun) And Ava, although Ava had an accident yesterday 😔 and so it depends how long it takes her to get better. The rest is all a maybe, Aria is temperamental and doesn’t listen when upset, Annabelle is always upset so she is staying, and Mocha is not at her best udder wise, so I’m not sure but she is great to walk… we will see, we still have a few weeks left to make final decisions. 😂 How are you doing?
The twins are a maybe but depends on how they walk, they are very stubborn. And yes I want the babies to go to their new homes as best as I can send them so it takes work to prep them but is soooo worth it 🤓
@@carmenHernandez-jg1kk I hope you feel better soon, life it’s like a wheel my mom says… sometimes you are up and sometimes down, but you will be ok as long as you don’t park it there 🤗 I’ll be praying for you ❤️
I'm in the chat if you want to say hi! Thanks for chatting with me Sheila! I love talking to you. If you are comung after the premiere, say hi in the comments! I'd love to know you are around. God bless!
Hello Lety!! I hope the little one can make it!!🙏🐐.Is a lot of preps to get the babies ready for the new families but I know you a pro already!!! Take care friend!!
Hun if u gave them their CD&T and their booster 3 weeks later then they're set on tetnis for 6 months don't overdose them on it. Just spray blue coat or silver skin around the sack every couple days if needed till they fall off. U can put them in seizures overdosing on tetnis
I didn’t but order some, the shot eaves them with a lump and people freak out, so I ordered theintramuscular one but it didn’t make in time to give it to them before they left. I also never give the moms the shot before they give birth I usually just give them the 2 shots weeks away. The tetanus antitoxin only last 10 days in their system and is meant as a prevention short term, so they metabolize it after that, so that way I can’t over dose them. I give them the antitoxin when I disbud, when I band, and right before they leave for 10 days of extra protection. The blue kote is something I was told to do, but my vet told me she wouldn’t advise since it provides moisture when applied and the goal is to keep it dry y encourage the falling. A lot of people get confused tetanus shot with the antitoxin ( I did ) but they are different. You know those balls will be rubbing on The ground until they fall😂 They been banded for a while now, so they will lose them soon 😂 How are you!?
He is on Baycox, apparently is his immune system so I’m also treating with some vitamins (gel caps) to help with that too. We will decide in a month what to do and what is best for him, for now in trying to be optimistic but not too hopeful because it is. Roller coaster with him. He is with mom, I’m not milking her, so he is still nursing . The vet said that would be the best at this point, we will see ☹️
I never knew there was a difference in the tetnis meds. I never heard of that. And never used it lol. Not sure I would use it. If u do a CD&T and a booster they should be good for 6 months. Not sure I would add that extra. Blue coat is fine to use because it goes on wet yes but then it dries or it wouldn't stick they could rub it off. I used it on goats and calves too. It's just an added barrier to the open skin so flies and dirt doesn't get in and cause an infection. Also silver skin or silver and honey spray. They all do the same just protects the open skin from the band's. So sorry about your little guy.i think cocksideosis is the worst thing out there for any animal. The silent killer. Keep him hydrated with supplements and vitamins till the meds kick in. Best u can do for them. Look into rotating them more to counter act it?? I don't know. And they live in dirt u can never get away from it. Praying for u guys
My blessings to you and your family and farm babies!
