That CZ looks old school but seems like a great detector. Been enjoying you many detector video's nice to see the difference between them all , I especially liked the video you were finding all the quarters on you hands and nee's with just the pinpointer.
That recovery speed is crazy tight. I have a Fisher F2 and one of the things I love about it is its speed. I have been thinking of a AT pro upgrade but you got me thinking now.
Great video. The cz's are still killer machines.Always wanted first texas to do a little tweeking like recovery speed and put this in a F19 box.Don't see it happening, but I can dream.
With my Fisher 7a pro, (same as your 70 minus one tone), if I keep sweeping the target as I back away, when the tip of the coil goes over the item it will give a steel tone if it is a bottle cap. Coins may go to a lower tone, but not down to steel. Happy hunting.
@@DirtFishing This trick also works with some of my other detectors, (just checked Makro Racer. It may have to with DD Vs Concentric, I haven't checked). This might be a good topic in a video. I haven't seen this technique talked about so far. You might be the first to explore with different machines and coils. It is not fool proof, One of my bottle caps still says it is a coin, but I would say it is at least 90% effective.
I've still got my old CZ 7a Pro by Fisher. Hadn't used it in a long time though. Sure found a lot of coins with it and it was a nickel magnet. Good to see you out making videos again. Always enjoy watching.
Bill, Have you ever demo'ed the Teknetics T2 Classic and if so what is your opinion of this detector? What detector do you hunt with? Thanks for the demo excellent video as usual.
I have said for years that if Fisher could put the CZ in a 2lb package they couldn't make them fast enough to keep up with sales. I don't think a skilled CZ user takes a back seat to anyone when it comes to good finds. You can tell a diehard CZ user though they have a swing arm twice as large as the other arm like a Minelab Sovereign user.lol Phil
Got to love those CZ's and I am glad you are making MD videos again.

Yes they are quite old but still work really good.

Thanks for the tip.

Thanks. I am sure I will do some more as long as we are having good weather.
Another great video from you thanks for sharing I really enjoy them. You are the best on UA-cam on making this kind of videos.
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Love that old skool detecting. Keep'm posting.
Still have mine.. it's the one I give to my friends who want to borrow my detector. It's a great machine for it's age. Goes deep too.
How does this handle aluminum screw caps? Thanks
That's a great pinpointer i have one but it's a loud SOB wished it had a volume i have mine taped up and muted. great video by the way!!!

My CZ 7a can mount to a belly belt, so swinging is even easier than the new detectors.
Fantastic
Looks like you smashed your thumb with a hammer. Yeowwch!!!
