No, it's a real garage. The model homes tend to have it as an office and landscape around the garage, but when they sell out and sell the model, they convert it back to a garage with a driveway.
What's with kitchen cabinets why they are not up to the ceiling? waste of space by not designing the cabinets up to the ceiling. I notice that most American homes like that, where kitchen cabinets just hanging on the space, the top of the cabinets are empty space perfect place for the dusts to hide. The walk-in closet at the master bedroom needs re-designing, such a waste of space if leaving that kind of style, cheap metal wires or racks are like in 80s.

You can upgrade the cabinets to go up to the ceiling, and also the closets. Easy fix :)
