informative, point about miming could be to maintain a level of consistency in the drinks served, mayb in the r&d stage can think more, but bau-wise i think customers would want a stable experience everytime
Fair point, miming does work at certain establishments with certain SOP. But I think the education behind it needs to be done well, otherwise people are just executing without understanding. 🤙🏻
I think the part of the conversation that we had off-camera was about raising barista’s salaries, which brought about the point on miming without using critical thinking skills, and how owners are better off using automatic machines for the same consistent experience ◡̈
